of granting the same to the Corporation of the
Borough of Timaru.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement two
thousand (2,000) acres, more or less, being Section
numbered two thousand one hundred and ninety-five
(2195) (in red), situate in the County of Geraldine.
Bounded towards the North by Crown lands six
thousand (6000) links, by Crown lands and Sec-
tion No. 20223 six thousand two hundred (6200)
links, and by a road line four thousand nine
hundred (4900) links; towards the South-east by
Crown lands four thousand hundred
links, two thousand three hundred and fifty (2350)
links, eight thousand five hundred (8500) links,
and six thousand five hundred (6500) links, by
Section No. 7554 seven thousand (7000) links, and
by Crown lands one thousand (1000) links; towards
the South by a road line sixteen thousand five hun-
dred (16500) links; and towards the North-west by a
road line eight thousand two hundred (8200) links,
by Section No. 20226 seven thousand five hundred
(7500) links, and nine hundred (900) links, and by
Section No. 24522 and Section No. 20224 five thou-
sand four hundred (5400) links; be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. Save and except Section num-
bered twenty thousand two hundred and twenty-five
(20225), containing by admeasurement five hundred
(500) acres, more or less, situated within the before-
mentioned boundary, as the same is delineated on the
plans deposited in the Provincial District Survey
Office, Christchurch.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
seventeenth day of July, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and au-
thority vested in him by the three hundred and
fiftieth section of "The Municipal Corporations Act,
1876," and upon the request of the Corporation of
the Borough of Akaroa, His Excellency the Governor,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby
order that the land described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same is hereby reserved out of the
waste lands of the Provincial District of Canterbury
for the purpose of granting the same to the Corpora-
tion of the Borough of Akaroa.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement two
thousand (2,000) acres, more or less, being Sections
numbered two thousand one hundred and ninety-six
(2196), two thousand one hundred and ninety-seven
(2197), two thousand one hundred and ninety-eight
(2198), and two thousand one hundred and ninety-
nine (2199), (in red). Bounded towards the North-
east by a road line one hundred (100) chains, and by
Section numbered twenty-seven thousand nine
hundred and sixty-eight (27968) sixty (60) chains;
towards the South-east by Section numbered twenty-
seven thousand nine hundred and sixty-eight (27968)
twenty-six (26) chains, and by a road line one hun-
dred and sixty-seven (167) chains; towards the
South-west by Crown lands sixty (60) chains and one
hundred (100) chains; and towards the North-west
by Crown lands ninety-two (92) chains, and a road
line one hundred (100) chains; be all the aforesaid
distances more or less. Save and except one (1) acre
around Trigonometrical Station numbered four (4),
situate numbered two thousand one
hundred and ninety-nine (2199), as the same is
delineated on the plans deposited in the Provincial
District Survey Office, Christchurch.

Altering Date of Sittings of Circuit Courts at
Nelson and Hokitika.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-fourth day of July, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Supreme Court Act, 1860,"
it is enacted that there shall be held Circuit
Courts for the despatch of civil and criminal business
of the Court before one of the Judges thereof, at
such places and times as the Governor in Council
may from time to time appoint:
And whereas by Order in Council made the first
day of November, in the year one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-one, Circuit Courts were ap-
pointed to be held within the Nelson and Westland
Districts on the days therein specified:
And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said
Order in Council so far as relates to the holding of
Circuit Courts in the said Nelson and Westland Dis-
tricts, and to appoint that a Circuit Court of the
Supreme Court should be held at Nelson on the first
Monday in October next, and at Hokitika on the
third Monday in September next:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Colony, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in him by "The Supreme Court
Act, 1860," doth hereby revoke the said Order in
Council so far, but so far only as the same ap-
points the times and places of holding Circuit
Courts of the Supreme Court in the Nelson and
Westland Districts; and doth hereby appoint,
