of the said Act for the said Hera Kiriwi, Mata
Kiriwi, Timoti Kiriwi, Rupene Kiriwi, Rina Kiriwi,
and Eriha Kiriwi during their minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Victoria Valley, in
the District of Mangonui, in the Provincial District
of Auckland, and called or known by the name of
Te Konoti, containing by admeasurement 2674 acres,
be the same more or less. Bounded towards the
South by the Victoria River; towards the West by a
stream and by the Mangatete Block 3188 links;
towards the North-west by the Patiki Block 12808
links, 1154 links and 2020 links; towards the North-
east by lines 1910 links, and 914 links; towards the
East by the Ohiritoa Creek and by a line 1610 links;
again towards the North-east by lines 1742 links and
6580 links; and again towards the East by the
Kaiake Block 10795 links. Excepting the roadway
through the said land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
seventeenth day of July, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any title
to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue to
any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a certificate of title
bearing date the twenty-seventh day of August, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, the parcel of
land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto was certified to belong to Karaka te Kawau
and others, of the District of Mangonui, in the
Province of Auckland, aboriginal natives of New
Zealand:
And whereas the said Karaka te Kawau died in-
testate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land
Court held at Mangonui, in the Provincial District
of Auckland, on the second day of March, one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-seven, Rutene te Wa
claimed to succeed to the interest of the said Karaka
te Kawau in the parcel of land described in the said
Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that Rauna
Karaka, Hakaraia Karaka, Utika Karaka, and Riria
Karaka, infants under the age of twenty-one years,
should succeed to the interest of the said Karaka te
Kawau in the hereditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Himiona te Waruora and
Karoraina te Waruora be appointed trustees under
the said Act on behalf of the said Rauna Karaka,
Hakaraia Karaka, Utika Karaka, and Riria Karaka:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the said Act, doth hereby order that the interests
and shares of the said Rauna Karaka, Hakaraia
Karaka, Utika Karaka, and Riria Karaka in the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be and remain
vested in
HIMIONA TE WARUORA and
KARORAINA TE WARUORA,
as Trustees within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Rauna Karaka, Hakaraia
Karaka, Utika Karaka, and Riria Karaka during their
minority.

And whereas the said Reihana Kiriwi died in-
testate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land Court
held at Mangonui, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, on the third day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-seven, Henare Parata claimed
to succeed to the interest of the said Reihana Kiriwi
in the parcel of land described in the said Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that Mawene,
Rora Kiriwi, Hera Kiriwi, Mata Kiriwi, Timoti
Kiriwi, Rupene Kiriwi, Rina Kiriwi, and Eriha
Kiriwi should succeed to the interest of the said Rei-
hana Kiriwi in the hereditaments aforesaid:
