ALL that piece or parcel of land at Muriwhenuatika,
in the District of Mangonui, in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Auckland, and called or known by the name
of Muriwhenuatika, containing by admeasurement
3054 acres, be the same more or less. Bounded to-
wards the North by the sea; towards the North-east
by the Waitangi Creek; towards the South-east by a
line 7470 links; towards the South by lines 15640
links and 6340 links; and towards the West by lines
8326 links and 4505 links.

Appointing Mihaka Kingi Wiremu and Hapaira Hui
Trustees under "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
seventeenth day of July, 1877.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:

And whereas by virtue of a certificate of title
bearing date the twenty-second day of December, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, the parcel
of land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto was certified to belong to Harawira Whai and
others, of the District of Mangonui, in the Province
of Auckland, aboriginal natives of New Zealand:

And whereas the said Harawira Whai died intes-
tate:

And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land Court
held at Mangonui, in the Provincial District of
Auckland, on the second day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-seven, Mihaka Wiremu
Kingi claimed to succeed to the interest of the said
Harawira Whai (otherwise known as Harawira
Hakunganui) in the parcel of land described in the
said Schedule:

And it was ordered by the said Court that Mereri
te Hara, Wira, Te Arainga, and Wi Tamihana, infants
under the age of twenty-one years, should succeed to
the interest of the said Harawira Whai in the heredi-
taments aforesaid:

And it is expedient that Mihaka Kingi Wiremu and
Hapaira Hui be appointed trustees under the said Act
on behalf of the said Mereri te Hara, Wira, Te
Arainga, and Wi Tamihana:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the said Act, doth hereby order that the interests
and shares of the said Mereri te Hara, Wira, Te
Arainga, and Wi Tamihana in the land described in
the Schedule hereto shall be and remain vested in

MIHAKA KINGI WIREMU and
HAPAIRA HUI,

as Trustees within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act for the said Mereri te Hara, Wira,
Te Arainga, and Wi Tamihana during their minority.

And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land
Court held at Mangonui, in the Provincial District
of Auckland, on the second day of March, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven, Henare
Parata claimed to succeed to the interest of the said
Reihana Kiriwi in the parcel of land described in the
said Schedule:

And it was ordered by the said Court that
Mawene, Rora Kiriwi, Hera Kiriwi, Mata Kiriwi,
Timoti Kiriwi, Rupene Kiriwi, Rina Kiriwi, and
Eriha Kiriwi should succeed to the interest of the
said Reihana Kiriwi in the hereditaments aforesaid:

And the said Hera Kiriwi, Mata Kiriwi, Timoti
Kiriwi, Rupene Kiriwi, Rina Kiriwi, and Eriha
Kiriwi are infants under the age of twenty-one
years:

And it is expedient that Mere Moko and Henare
Parata be appointed trustees under the said Act on
behalf of the said Hera Kiriwi, Mata Kiriwi, Timoti
Kiriwi, Rupene Kiriwi, Rina Kiriwi, and Eriha
Kiriwi:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
