A PROCLAMATION.

THEREAS by the twelfth section of "The Waste
Lands Administration Act, 1876," it is enacted
that it shall be lawful for the Governor from time
to time to make out of any waste lands of the Crown
provisional reserves for educational purposes of a
public character, in manner as in the said section is
set forth:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the authority vested in me
by the above-named Act, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
claim and declare that the parcels of land described
in the Schedule hereto annexed are provisionally
reserved and set apart for educational purposes of a
public character, subject to the terms and conditions
of the aforesaid twelfth section of the above-named
Act.

SCHEDULE.

I. That piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement
5 acres, more or less, situated in the Wairoa
County, and being Block numbered 20 on the map of
the said district. Bounded towards the North-east
by the Mangaruhi Stream 21300 links; towards the
South and South-east by Blocks 123, 19, 18, and 17,
15 links; and on the West by Blocks 28 and 21,
25 links; be all the aforesaid distances more or less.

II. That piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Auckland, situated in the Wairoa County,
containing by admeasurement 1,244 acres, more or
less, and being Block numbered 24 on the map of
the said district. Bounded towards the North-west
by Crown lands 16030 links; on the East by Block
25 9630 links; on the South by Block 25 10960
links; and towards the West by the Waikare Taheke
River 9000 links; be all the aforesaid distances more or less.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincia
District of Auckland, situated in the Wairoa County,
containing by admeasurement 620 acres, more or
less, and being Block 26 on the map of the said
district. Bounded towards the North by Block 25
8625 links; towards the East by Block 27 7800
links; towards the South by Sections 99, 98, 97, 95,
96, and 94, 8800 links; and towards the West by the
Waiau River, a road line, and Section 91, 12650
links; be all the aforesaid distances more or less.

III. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement
1,292 acres, more or less, situated in the Wairoa
County, and being Block numbered 31 on the map
of the said district. Bounded towards the North by
Block 32 7615 links; towards the East by Crown
lands and the Makaretu Stream 23700 links; towards
the South by the Kauhauroa Stream 12560 links;
and towards the West by Block numbered 30 12471
links; be all the aforesaid distances more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of
Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron
Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the County
of York, in the Peerage of the United
Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave of New
Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the
Peerage of Ireland; a Member of Her
Majesty's Most Honorable Privy Coun-
cil; Knight Commander of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George; Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over Her Ma-
jesty's Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the
same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House,
at Wellington, this twenty-second day of
June, in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-seven.
