Green Light at Napier.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
No. 12 of 1877.

Customs Department (Marine Branch),
Wellington, 11th April, 1877.

NOTICE has been received from the Napier Har-
bour Board that a green light will hereafter be
exhibited between sunset and sunrise from a lamp-
post on the outer end of the mole of the Harbour
Works, Eastern Spit, Napier.

Designation of Post Offices changed.

IT is hereby notified for general information, that
the designation of the Post Offices in the Pro-
vincial Districts of Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago, at
present known as Christy's Junction, and Matakitaki,
(Nelson), Selwyn Home (Canterbury), and Kaik
(Otago), have been respectively changed to

INANGAHUA JUNCTION,
TAYLOR'S CREEK,
SELWYN, and
OTAKOU.

Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Messrs. SIEVWRIGHT
and STOUT, Solicitors, Dunedin, have applied,
on behalf of FREDERICK SHEPHERD GRIMWADE and
ALFRED FELTON, of the City of Melbourne, in the
Colony of Victoria, Wholesale Chemists and Drug-
gists, and THOMAS WHITELOCK KEMPTHORNE and
EVAN PROSSER, of Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand,
Wholesale Chemists and Druggists, carrying on
business in co-partnership in Dunedin and Auckland
as "Kempthorne, Prosser, and Co.," and at Wel-
lington as "Felton, Grimwade, and Co.," to register,
under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the Trade
Mark of which the following is a description, viz.,-

Description of Trade Mark.

A picture of a "Kiwi" (Native Bird), seeking its
food, or about to pick it up; and to the right and
left of the print or picture, a small flax bush, and
immediately thereunder an armorial bar, and in
print the words TRADE MARK, in plain type or
block letters.

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such
Trade Mark shall apply.
