THE following RETURN OF AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS of the Provincial District of MARLBOROUGH in February, 1877, is published for general information :—
N.B.—The differences between the estimated Crops of 1876 and 1877, for the Provincial District, are as follow:—

| Potatoes (tons) | 1,628 | 2,029 | Increase, 401 Tons. |
It has been calculated that the above figures for 1877 are in excess of the actual yield by the undermentioned amounts, on account of damage done to the crops in the Picton and Wairau
Districts: Wheat, 3,341 bushels; barley, 28,003 bushels; and potatoes, 472 tons.
