THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

held on the twentieth day of February, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-seven, pass a resolution
declaring all the district roads within the Hutt
County to be county roads: And whereas further,
the Council, at a special meeting of the Council
held this twenty-third day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-seven, did confirm the
aforesaid resolution, as provided by section eighty of
"The Counties Act, 1876," and did direct that an
order in conformity with such resolution be drawn
up and sealed with the seal of the county, and be
forthwith gazetted and publicly notified: Now it
is by this order declared that all the district roads
within the Hutt County be from henceforth county
roads.

Given under the seal of the Chairman,
Councillors, and inhabitants of the Hutt
County, this twenty-third day of March,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
seven.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by clause eighty-eight of "The Pub-
lic Works Act, 1876," it is enacted that--
"The County Council may make county roads
throughout the county , and may, by an
order publicly gazetted and notified, from time to
time declare any district road within the county to
be a county road."

The following order is hereby gazetted, viz.:-
That the following roads be county roads within
the meaning of "The Public Works Act, 1876":---
The main road known as the Gisborne, Ormond,
tiki Road, from Read's Quay, Gisborne, to
and Oporary of the Poverty Bay Highway District.
the bound Coast Road, known as the Tolago Bay
The East the Taruheru River, opposite Gisborne,
Road from ry of the Turanganui Highway District.
The Gisborne ts junction with the Gisborne and
land track, from Makaraka, to the boundary of the
Poverty Bay Highway District, near the Patutahi.

memorials which have been exhibited to the said
Court in respect of the said parcels of land respec-
tively, together with interest thereon at the rate of
ten pounds per centum per annum, computed from
the time at which the said several rates became due,
and alse the amount of costs recovered in the Resi-
dent Magistrate's Court holden at Picton, in respect
of the said several parcels of land respectively.

NOTICE.

I HEREBY proclaim the following roads to be
county roads, viz. :-

From the Beach on the South Bank of the Mana-
watu River to Foxton, thence to Carnarvon
junction, thence to Sandon, thence to Rangi-
tikei Bridge, near Bulls;

From Sandon to Palmerston Railway Station,
thence to Lower Ferry, at Manawatu Gorge;

From Bennet's Corner, at Awa Huri, through
Feilding, and by the Kimbolton Road to the
northern boundary of the Kiwitea Block.

THE Lake Coleridge Road Board hereby give
notice that they propose to take Half an Acre
of Land, more or less, for the Formation of a road
through Section 23974, at the back of Fighting Hill,
a plan of which is open for inspection at Wind-
whistle House. Any person injuriously affected is
hereby called upon to send in, in writing, within forty
days, any well grounded objections to the Lake Cole-
ridge Road Board. 168

I, THOMAS JOHN TIGHE, Licentiate Royal
College of Surgeons, Ireland; Licentiate King
and Queen's College of Physicians, Ireland; Licen-
tiate in Midwifery, King and Queen's College of
Physicians, Ireland, now residing in Dunedin, do
hereby give notice that I intend to apply on the
15th of April next to have my name placed on the
Register of Medical Practitioners in the Colony of
New Zealand; and that I have this day deposited
with the Registrar in Dunedin the evidence of my
qualifications, in terms of "The Medical Practitioners
Registration Act, 1869."

land, do hereby give notice that I intend to apply to
you one month from this date to have my name
placed on the Register of Medical Practitioners in
the Colony of New Zealand. I hereby deposit a
certified copy of my certificate of Registration as a

Orders of this honourable Court, made the
sixteenth day of March, 1877, the several parcels of
land described in the Schedule hereto will be sold by
public auction, at the Borough of Picton, on Monday,
the sixteenth day of July, 1877, at twelve o'clock at
noon, by such licensed auctioneer as the Registrar of
the said Court at Blenheim shall appoint, for the
purpose of raising and paying the costs and expenses
of proceedings under "The Sale for Non-payment of
Rates Act, 1862," in respect of the said parcels of
land respectively, and of such sale and after pay-
ment thereof, then for the purpose of paying such
arrears of rates under "The Picton and Havelock
Improvement Act, 1872," as are specified in certain
