NOTICE is hereby given, that MAGGIE GRA-
HAM, of Masterton, Widow, has made appli-
cation to be registered as Proprietress of an estate
in fee-simple in Town Sections "130" and "200;"
Suburban Sections "14," "15," "179," and "180;"
and Rural Sections "9," "10," "11," "26," "27,"
"28," "29," and "30," Feilding, Manchester Block,
Manawatu District, as sole Devisee under the Will of
WILLIAM GRAHAM, late of Masterton, Hotelkeeper,
deceased; and that she the said Maggie Graham will
be so registered, unless caveat be lodged forbidding
the same on or before the 31st day of March next.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Borough Coun-
cil of the City of Wellington having determined
to construct a street one hundred links wide, leading
from the northern side of Manners Street in the
said city to the foreshore of the Harbour of Port
Nicholson, by way of extension of Cuba Street, a
plan showing the extent, boundaries, and position of
the said proposed new street, and of the lands re-
quired to be taken for the same, together with the
names of the owners and occupiers of such lands so
far as the same can be ascertained, has been de-
posited in the office of the Town Clerk of the said
city, and is open for inspection by all persons during
ordinary office hours.

And notice is hereby further given, that all per-
sons who may be affected by the execution of the
proposed works are required to set forth in writing
any well-grounded objection to the same, or to the
taking of the land required for the same, as set forth
in the said plan, and to send such writing to the
Borough Council of the said city within forty days
from the first publication of this notice.
