Notification of Resignation of Seat in the House of
Representatives for Electoral District of Wellington
City.
IN compliance with the provisions of the thirteenth
section of "The Regulation of Elections Act,
1870," I hereby notify that Edward Pearce, Esquire,
resigned his seat in the House of Representatives
for the Electoral District of Wellington City on the
seventh day of March, 1877, and that the said seat is
vacant by reason of such resignation.

Works Act, 1876," the following District Road
was, by an order of the Grey County Council dated
9th day of January, 1877, declared to be a County
Road:-
"Cobden to Langdon's Ferry, along North
Bank of Grey River."

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Makarewa Road
Board purpose to take New Roads at the fol-
lowing places:-
- Along the Northern side of Section 32, Block
XIII., Invercargill Hundred. - Along the South side of Section 44, Block
VIII., New River Hundred. - Through a portion of Section 74, Block IX.,
New River Hundred.
The land for the Road in each case to be taken
from the sections specified. Plans may be seen at
the house of the undersigned, where objections, if
any, must be lodged in writing within forty days from
the date hereof.

of Masterton, Widow, JOSEPH MCGIFFERT
CLELAND, of Wellington, Gentleman, and BEN-
NETT PASCOE PERRY, of Taratahi, Settler, have
made application as Devisees, under the Will of
CHARLES DIXON, late of Masterton, Farmer, deceased,
to be registered as proprietors of an Estate in fee-
simple in parts of Sections 110 and 118, Town
of Masterton, containing respectively 1 rood 13
perches and 2 roods 26 perches, more or less.
And that they will be so registered, unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 9th
day of April next.
Diagrams may be inspected at this office.
