tions mentioned in the Third Schedule to the said
Act, extend any Part or Parts of the said Act to the
Corporation the Council of which shall petition, and
thereupon the Part or Parts of the said Act so ex-
tended shall have the force of law within such Cor-
poration: And whereas the Council of the Corpora-
tion of Oamaru (being a Corporation mentioned
or referred to in the Third Schedule to the said Act)
has petitioned His Excellency the Governor to extend
Parts XII. and XIII. of the said Act to the said
Corporation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in
exercise and pursuance of the power and authority
conferred upon him by the said Act, doth hereby ex-
tend Parts XII. and XIII. of the said Act to the
said Corporation.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twenty-eighth day of Feb-
ruary, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-seven.

Extending certain Parts of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876,” to the Corporation of Green Island.
NORMANBY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three hundred and fifty-ninth
section of “The Municipal Corporations Act,
1876,” it is enacted that the Governor may, on the
petition of any of the Councils of any of the Corpora-
tions mentioned in the Third Schedule to the said
Act, extend any Part or Parts of the said Act to the
Corporation the Council of which shall petition, and
