Crown Grants ready for Delivery.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 1st February, 1877.

THE under-mentioned Deeds of Grant having been
duly executed, are now ready for delivery at this
office, under the authority of "The Crown Grants
Act, 1866," and "The Crown Grants Amendment
Act, 1867."

A fee of sixpence is chargeable on each Crown
Grant for every month during which it shall remain
in this office after the expiration of three months from
the date of this notice.

In cases where it is impossible for the party en-
titled to receive the Grant to attend in person, it
will be delivered to the bearer of an authority accord-
ing to the subjoined form, certified by a Magistrate
or by a Solicitor of the Supreme Court.

Sheep Inspector's Report.

Sheep Inspector's Office,
Wellington, 31st January, 1877.

SIR, —I have the honor to forward to you my Re-
port for the year ending 31st December, 1876.

Having only recently been appointed Inspector of
the district, I am not able to report on the condition
of all the flocks. There are seven (7) flocks in the
neighbourhood of Johnsonville infected with scab;
but as the owners have dipped them several times
since shearing, and are putting up secure fences, I
hope soon to report them clean.

There are also several flockowners on the West
Coast who have neither sent returns nor paid assess-
ments on their sheep for the last three or four years.
I intend visiting their neighbourhood soon, and will
endeavour to collect assessments in arrear.
