Section No. 28, Rangitumau Block, strikes it, to
the summit of the Tararua Range; and towards
the North-west by the Manawatu County. | Otoia | Bounded towards the North by Taranaki
County; towards the East by a line from the
south-eastern corner of the Mangaotuku Block
to the intersection of the confiscated boundary
line by the Whenuakura River, thence by the
middle of the Whenuakura River to the ocean;
towards the South-west by the ocean; and to-
wards the West by Hawera Riding. |
| Masterton | Bounded towards the North-east by Alfred-
ton Riding; towards the South-east by the
Wairarapa East County; towards the South
and South-west by the centre of the Waingawa
River to its source, and by a line to the Trigono-
metrical Station on Pukemoremore; thence to-
wards the West by the Manawatu County. | Waverley | Bounded towards the North-west by the Tara-
naki County; towards the East and South-east
by Wanganui County; towards the South-west
by the ocean; and towards the West by Otoia
Riding. |
| Carterton | Bounded towards the North and North-east
by Masterton Riding; towards the South-east
by the Wairarapa East County; towards the
South-west by the centre of the Waiohine River
to a point due east of Mount Hector, thence due
west to the summit of Mount Hector; and to-
wards the North-west by the Manawatu County. | Omata | TARANAKI COUNTY.
Bounded towards the West by the ocean from
the Taungatara River to the Waiwakaiho River;
thence in a southerly direction by the last-men-
tioned river to the south boundary of Allotment
No. 61, Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred; thence
in an easterly direction by the said boundary to
the Mangoraka River; thence by the last-men-
tioned river to its source; thence by a right line
to the summit of Mount Egmont; and thence
by the northern boundary of the Patea country
to the point first mentioned. |

by Carterton Riding; towards the East and
South-east by the centre of the Ruamahanga
River; towards the West by the eastern shore
of the Wairarapa Lake, by the centre of the
Tauherenikau River to its source, and by a line
thence west magnetic to the summit of the
Rimutuka Range, and thence by the Hutt
County. | Moa | Bounded towards the North by the ocean
from the mouth of the Waiwakaiho River to the
eastern boundary of the Bell District; thence in
a southerly direction by the said boundary of the
Bell District and the east boundary of the Taru-
rutangi District to the north boundary of Allot-
ment No. 204, Huirangi District, thence by the
south boundary of Allotments Nos. 203 and 127
to the Worthy Road; thence by the west side
of the said road to the north boundary of Allot-
ment No. 205; thence in an easterly direction
by the said boundary to the north-east corner of
the said Allotment No. 205; thence by the west
and south boundaries of Allotment No. 206 to
the Richmond Road; thence by the west side
of the said road to the north boundary of Allot-
ment No. 221, Huirangi District; thence by the
said boundary to the north-east corner of the
said allotment; thence in a southerly direction
by the east boundary of the Moa District to the
Kurapiti Stream; thence by the said stream to
its junction with the Manganui River; thence
in a southerly direction by the last-mentioned
river to the south boundary line of the Manganui
Block; thence in an easterly direction by the
south boundary of the Manganui and Huiroa
Blocks to the north-west corner of the Mangao-
tuku Block; thence by the west boundary of
the last-mentioned block to its south-west
corner; thence in a south and westerly direction
by the boundary of the Patea County to the
summit of Mount Egmont; and thence by the
east boundary of Omata Riding to the ocean. |

Riding; towards the East by Greytown Riding,
and by the centre of the Ruamahanga River
from the Wairarapa Lake to Palliser Bay; to-
wards the South and South-east by the shore of
Palliser Bay; and towards the North-west by
the Hutt County. | Waitara | Bounded towards the West by No. 2 Riding
and the ocean to the mouth of the Mokau River;
towards the North by the Kawhia County;
towards the East by West Taupo County and
Wanganui County; towards the South by Patea
County to the south-west corner of the Mangao-
tuku Block, the boundary of Moa Riding. |
| Otaraia | Bounded towards the North-east and South-
east by the Wairarapa East County; towards
the South by the shore of Palliser Bay; towards
the West by Featherston Riding; and towards
the North-west by Greytown Riding. | Awatere | MIDDLE ISLAND.
MARLBOROUGH COUNTY.
Bounded towards the North by the sea from
Cape Campbell to the Awatere River; thence
towards the North and West by the Awatere
River from its mouth to a point in Section No.
30, Wakefield Downs, being the south-western
corner of the boundary of the Vernon Run;
thence by a right line to the south-western
corner of Section 28, Wakefield Downs; thence
by the eastern side of the road between Sections
33 and 29, Wakefield Downs, and Sections 4 of
Block 1, and 2 of Block 1, District of Awatere,
to the Utawai Stream; thence by the Utawai
Stream to the northern boundary of Section 2, |
| Castlepoint. | WAIRARAPA EAST COUNTY.
Bounded towards the North by the Waipawa
County; towards the East by the ocean between
the Waimata Stream and the Whareama River;
towards the South by the centre of the Whare-
ama River to the Waihora Stream, thence by the
centre of the Waihora Stream to the source of
its northern branch, thence by a straight line to
the source of the northern branch of the Kau-
mingi Stream, and thence by the centre of the
Kaumingi Stream to the Tauheru River; and
towards the West and North-west by the Wai-
rarapa West County. | | |
| Wainuioru. | Bounded towards the North-east by the Castle-
point Riding; towards the South-east by the
ocean between the Whareama and Pahaua
Rivers; towards the South-west by the centre
of the Pahaua River to its junction with the
Kaikaikuri Stream, thence by a straight line
towards the junction of the Huangarua River
with the Wangaehu Stream till the said line
strikes the Wangachu, thence by the centres
of the Wangaehu Stream and Huangarua River
to the Ruamahanga River; and towards the
West and North-west by the Wairarapa West

Riding; towards the South-east and South-west
by the ocean and Palliser Bay, between the

to the Ingahape Stream, thence by the middle
of the Ingahape and Manawapou Streams to
the ocean; towards the South-west by the ocean;
