THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
In pursuance of the one hundred and eighty-
first section of "The Municipal Corpora-
tions Act, 1867," the Council of the
Borough of Blenheim ordain as follows,
that is to say,-
The first and second subdivisions of the fifth part
of the Thirteenth Schedule of the said Act are here-
by adopted in and for the said borough.
Passed by the said Council this fifth day of
September, 1876.

THE following Report, received from the Cattle Inspector for the District of Nelson South, is
published for general information.

Cattle Inspector's Office, Waiau, Nelson South District,
9th October, 1876.
SIR,-
In compliance with Circular No. 12, of 1st May, 1876, I have the honor to report that since the
date of my last report, dated 3rd June, 1876, fifty-nine head of cattle have been driven from the infected
district of Kaikoura to the Ahaura, in the Nelson South District. That the said cattle were seized upon
arriving there, and were afterwards destroyed. That no case of disease or contagious infection has been
discovered amongst the cattle in this district before or subsequent to the date of the above occurrence.
