  1. Any member of this Association who may be |
    found to have taken shares for another person, or for
    speculative purposes, and not with the view to bond
    fide settlement, shall, upon sufficient proof thereto to
    the satisfaction of a majority of the members, forfeit
    his interest in the Association, and the Committee
    shall dispose of his shares to a bond fide settler; and
    these rules shall be sufficient authority for such for-
    feiture and re-allotment; and any profits arising
    from such re-allotment shall be paid into the general
    funds of this Association.

  2. Should any member of this Association fail to
    comply with Rule No. 5, or any part thereof, he
    shall forfeit his interest in this Association, and the
    Committee shall have power to dispose of his shares
    to a bona fide settler; and any profit arising from
    such re-allotment shall be paid into the general
    funds of this Association.

  3. Should any dispute arise which the Secretary
    cannot arrange, it shall be referred to the Committee
    of Management, and if not satisfactorily arranged
    it shall be referred to a general meeting of mem-
    bers, whose decision shall be final.

Altering Date of Sittings of Circuit Court at Nelson.

NORMANBY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
seventeenth day of October, 1876.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by "The Supreme Court Act, 1860,"
it is enacted that there shall be held Circuit
Courts for the despatch of civil and criminal business
of the Court before one of the Judges thereof, at
such places and times as the Governor in Council
may from time to time appoint:

And whereas by Order in Council made the first
day of November, in the year one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-one, Circuit Courts were ap-
pointed to be held within the Nelson District on the
first Monday in the month of January and on the
third Monday in each of the months of April and
August in each and every year:

And whereas it is expedient that a Circuit Court
of the Supreme Court should be held on the sixth day
of December next, in lieu of the Circuit Court ap-
pointed by the said recited Order in Council to be
held at Nelson on the first Monday in January next:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Colony, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in him by "The Supreme Court
Act, 1860," doth hereby revoke the said in part
recited Order in Council so far, but so far only, as
the same appoints a Circuit Court of the Supreme
Court to be held in the Nelson District on the first
Monday in January next; and doth hereby appoint
that, in lieu of the Circuit Court so appointed to be
held, there shall be held in the said district, at the
Provincial Council Hall, at Nelson, on the sixth day
of December next, a Circuit Court for the despatch
of civil and criminal business of the said Court.

Land reserved in Westland for Municipal Endowment
Purposes.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and au-
thority vested in me in this behalf by "The

Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870," I hereby reserve
the lands in the Province of Westland, the boun-
daries whereof are described in the Schedule hereunto
annexed, and for the purposes in the said Schedule
specified.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eighteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
six.

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement
four acres and two roods, more or less, situate in the
Town of Hokitika, in the Province of Westland.
Bounded on the North-eastward by Town Belt North,
five chains; on the South-eastward by Rolleston
Street, nine chains; on the South-westward by Spen-
cer Street, five chains; and on the North-westward
by other part of Town Belt North, nine chains; and
comprising Sections 3408, 3409, 3410, 3411, 3412,
3413, 3414, 3415, 3416, 3417, 3418, 3419, 3420, 3421,
3422, 3423, 3424, and 3425, and numbered 149 (in
red).

For a reserve for municipal endowment purposes.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment five acres, more or less, situate in the Town of
Hokitika, in the Province of Westland. Bounded on
the North-eastward by Spencer Street, five chains; on
the South-eastward by Hoffman Street, ten chains;
on the South-westward by Tudor Street, five chains;
and on the North-westward by Jollie Street, ten
chains; and comprising Sections numbered 3502,
3503, 3504, 3505, 3506, 3507, 3508, 3509, 3510, 3511,
3512, 3513, 3514, 3515, 3516, 3517, 3518, 3519, 3520,
and 3521, and numbered 150 (in red).

For a reserve for municipal endowment purposes.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment one acre and one rood, more or less, situate in
the Town of Hokitika, in the Province of Westland.
Bounded on the North-eastward by Town Belt North,
five chains; on the South-eastward by Dalton Street,
two chains fifty links; on the South-westward by
Sections 3635 and 3639, five chains; and on the
North-westward by Livingstone Street, two hundred
and fifty links; and comprising Sections 3640, 3641,
3642, 3643, and 3644, and numbered 151 (in red).

For a reserve for municipal endowment purposes.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment two acres and two roods, more or less, situate
in the Town of Hokitika. Bounded on the North-
eastward by Tudor Street, two chains fifty links; on
the South-eastward by Harper Street, ten chains; on
the South-westward by Park Street, two chains fifty
links; and on the North-westward by Livingstone
Street, ten chains; and comprising Sections 3598,
3599, 3600, 3601, 3602, 3603, 3604, 3605, 3606, 3607,
and 3608, and numbered 152 (in red).
