PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor the Superintendent of the Pro-
vince of Canterbury, declaring an Agri-
cultural District under "The Canterbury
Trespass of Cattle Ordinance, 1872."

In exercise of the power conferred upon the Super-
intendent of the Province of Canterbury by "The
Canterbury Trespass of Cattle Ordinance 1872," and
of every other power and authority enabling him in
that behalf, the said Superintendent, with the con-
sent of His Excellency the Governor and Executive
Council of the Colony of New Zealand, and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
Province of Canterbury, doth hereby proclaim and
declare that the portion of the province bounded on the
North-east by the Lake Coleridge, Rakaia, and Elles-
mere Road Districts; on the South-east by the sea;
on the North-west by the north-western boundary
of Run No. 352; on the South-west by the south-
western boundary of Runs Nos. 352, 466, 502, and
the north branch of the River Ashburton, from the
southernmost corner of Run No. 460 as far as the
north-west corner of Run 106; thence by the north-
west boundary of that run, the north-east boundaries
of Runs No. 106 and 54; thence by part of the north-
west boundary of Run No. 124; thence by the south-
west boundaries of Runs Nos. 116 and 117, by part
of the north-west boundary of Run No. 118, by the
south-west boundary of last-mentioned run, part of
the south-east boundary of Run No. 118, part of
the south-west boundary of Run No. 91, part of the
north-west boundary of Run No. 90; thence by the
south-west boundaries of Runs Nos. 90 and 129 to
the sea, shall, from and after the publication of this
Proclamation in the New Zealand Government
Gazette, and the New Zealand Government Gazette
of the said Province of Canterbury, be deemed to be
and be an Agricultural District within the meaning
of "The Canterbury Trespass of Cattle Ordinance,
1872."

Given under the hand of the Superintendent
of the Province of Canterbury, this four-
teenth day of September, 1876.

Places and Times appointed for Vaccination.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1872," I, George
Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
the several places mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto as and to be places at which
Public Vaccinators appointed for the respective districts mentioned in the first column of the said Schedule
shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I do hereby give notice
that each such Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid, for the purpose of perform-
ing such vaccination, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said
Schedule opposite the name of each such place; and further, that at each such place as last aforesaid
the Public Vaccinator will attend, for the purpose of inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the
persons so vaccinated, on the days and at the hours respectively set forth in the fourth column of the
said Schedule opposite the name of each such place.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Most Honorable George Augustus Constantine
Marquis of Normanby, Earl of Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron Mulgrave
of Mulgrave, all in the County of York, in the Peerage of the United Kingdom;
and Baron Mulgrave of New Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the Peerage of
Ireland; a Member of Her Majesty's Most Honorable Privy Council; Knight Com-
mander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; at the Government House at Wellington,
this fifteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six.
