Notice of Sale of Confiscated Lands.

Confiscated Lands Office, Patea,
26th August, 1876.

IT is hereby notified, for public information, that
the under-mentioned Sections in the Town of
Kakaramea, and Rural Sections in the Patea District,
will be offered for sale by public auction, on Thursday, the 26th day of October
next, at the upset prices named in the Schedule here-
under attached. The sale will be held at the Court
House, Carlyle, Patea, and will commence at 12
o'clock noon.

Terms of Payment.

One-fourth of the purchase money in cash on the
fall of the hammer; the remainder at or before the
expiration of three calendar months from the day of
sale; to be paid at the office of the Officer in Charge
of Confiscated Lands, Patea.

By clause 18 of the Confiscated Lands Regulations
of the 11th May, 1871, in the event of the second
payment not being made as aforesaid, the sale will be
void, and the deposit forfeited.

Plans may be inspected at the Surveyor-General's
Office, Wellington, and at the Survey Office, Patea,
and lithographed plans obtained on application.

Regulations for the sale of the land may be seen
in the New Zealand Gazette of the 1st June, 1871,
and all required information obtained at this office.

OFFICIATING MINISTERS FOR 1876.—NOTICE No. 16.

Wellington, 12th September, 1876.

PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following name of an Officiating Minister
within the meaning of the said Act is published for
general information :—
