THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Reserve for Educational Purposes in the Province
of Taranaki.

WHEREAS by the Regulations for the sale and
disposal of lands taken under the authority of
"The New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863," and
"The New Zealand Settlements Amendment and
Continuance Act, 1865," contained in the Schedule
to an Order in Council made and issued, bearing date
the eleventh day of May, one thousand eight hun-
dred and seventy-one, it is provided that reserves
for roads, and all other public purposes whatever, and
for education, and the sites for churches and chapels
or other places of worship for different religious
denominations, may be made by Government out of
any confiscated lands, and that notices of all such
reserves shall be published in the New Zealand
Gazette: It is hereby notified that the lands speci-
fied in the Schedule hereunder written shall be
reserved for the purposes therein mentioned and set
opposite the descriptions of the said parcels of land
respectively.

Patea District.
All that parcel of land situate at Manu- For Educational
tahi, containing by admeasurement three (3) purposes.

less, and being part of Section No. 9 of the
Manutahi Ten-acre Lots. Bounded-to-
wards the North-east by Sections Nos. 10
and 11, one thousand two hundred and
twenty-one (1221) links; towards the
South-east by other part of Section No. 9,
two hundred and sixty (260) links; towards
the South-west by a road line, one thousand
two hundred and twenty (1220) links; and
towards the North-west by a road line, two
hundred and sixty-one (261) links. |

Post Office, London, is published for general
information.

On the 1st of June the following alterations
will take place, viz.,—

ENGLAND.

  1. A Money Order Office will be opened in the
    Suburbs of London at—

Rotherhithe, New Road Postal District. S.E.
and the designation of the Office at Kensal Road,
W., will be changed to Upper Westbourne Park (3,
Golborne Road), W.

  1. Money Order Offices will be opened in the
    Country at—
    Head Office. County.
    Birnbeck Road R.O. Weston-super-Mare Somerset.
    Ellesmere Road R.O. Sheffield York.
    Fincham ... Downham Norfolk.
    Hapstead ... Haywards Heath Sussex.
    Rowsley ... Bakewell Derby.
    Salterhebble ... Halifax York.
    Slingsby ... York York.
    Summertown ... Oxford Oxford.
    Upperthorpe R.O.... Sheffield York.

  2. The Office at Bridlington Quay (Hull) will be
    constituted a Head Office, with the Sub-Office at
    Bridlington subordinate to it.

  3. The Sub-Offices at Longtown, Otterburn, and
    West Boldon, will be made Railway Sub-Offices.

  4. The designation of the Office at Cwmburla
    (Swansea) will be changed to Greenhill.

SCOTLAND.

  1. Money Order Offices will be opened at—
    Head Office. County.
    Corstorphine ... Edinburgh Edinburgh.
    Halkirk ... R. S. O. Caithness.
    Kemnay ... Aberdeen Aberdeen.
    Ochiltree... Kilmarnock Ayr.
    Parkhead ... Glasgow Lanark.

  2. The Offices at Arrochar and Bonhill which are
    now served from Dumbarton will henceforth be
    served from Alexandria.

IRELAND.

  1. A Money Order Office will be opened at—
    Head Office. County.
    Clonegal ... Ferns Wexford.

  2. The Head Office at Frenchpark has been re-
    duced to a Sub-Office, under Castlerea.

REGULÆ GENERALES.

May, 1876.

BY virtue of the powers vested in us by law, it is
ordered by us, the Judges of the said Court,
that the following Rule shall come into force on and
after Tuesday, the first day of August, 1876:—

  1. Whenever, by any Rule of this Court, the prac-
    tice of the Courts of Equity, or of any of the Superior
    Courts in England, is adopted, or may be followed,
    the same shall be deemed to be the practice which
    existed in England immediately before "The Supreme
    Court of Judicature Act, 1873," came into force.
