Description of Land.
PROVINCE OF WELLINGTON. All that parcel of Land in the harbour of Port Nicholson, bounded on all sides by the sea, and called or known by the name of Ward Island. Purposes of the Marine Department, or other purposes of the General Government. January 18th, 1875.

THE following persons have been appointed to be
Superintendent Collectors of the Account of
Land in Cultivation, and of Agricultural Produce
thereof, to be taken in February, 1876, under the
provisions of "The Census Acts Amendment Act,
1867," for the Provinces set opposite their names,
viz.,-

J. B. Lawson, Esq.—Taranaki.
C. P. Powles, Esq.—Wellington.
S. Begg, Esq.—Hawke's Bay.
R. Pollock, Esq.—Nelson.
