97 of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870," to regis-

of Ashburton, and the registered proprietor having
made affidavit as required by the said Act, notice is
hereby given, that such transfer will be registered,
unless a caveat be lodged at this Office on or before
the 18th day of May, 1876.

AT REEFTON.
In the matter of "The Mining Companies Act,
1872," and in the matter of the Golden
Treasure Gold Mining Company (Limited).
Wednesday, the 19th day of April, 1876.
U PON reading the Petition of the National Bank
of New Zealand (Limited), a creditor of the
above-named Company, presented to this Court on
the eighth day of April, 1876, and the several Affida-
vits thereunto annexed, and filed in this honorable
Court, and upon hearing Mr. Staite, of Counsel for
the Petitioner, it is ordered that the said Company be
wound up under the provisions of the said Act; and
the Court doth appoint Monday, the eighth day of
May, 1876, at the hour of eleven o'clock in the fore-
noon, as the day for the General Meeting of the
Creditors of the above-named Company, the said
meeting to be held at the District Court House, at
Reefton, in the Province of Nelson: And the Court
doth direct a copy of this Order to be served on
Patrick Brennan, the Manager of the said Golden
Treasure Gold Mining Company (Limited), person-
ally; and the Court doth also direct that this Order
shall be advertised in the General Government
Gazette of New Zealand, and the Nelson Colonist and
the Inangahua Herald newspapers: And the Court
doth also further direct that the winding-up proceed-
ings shall be carried on at Reefton aforesaid.

pany (Limited) to break up Streets and Bridges,
and to lay down and place Pipes, Conduits, and
Service Pipes, and to make and construct other
Works for supplying the Borough of Timaru and
Suburbs with Gas."
N OTICE is hereby given, that application is in-
tended to be made at the next Session of the
General Assembly of New Zealand for leave to bring
in a Bill to authorize the Timaru Gas, Coal, and
Coke Company (Limited), incorporated under the
provisions of "The Joint Stock Companies Act,
1860," to break up streets and bridges, and to lay
down and place pipes, conduits, and service pipes,
and to make and construct other works for supplying
the Borough of Timaru and suburbs with gas, and
for other purposes relating thereto, and to the objects
for which the said Company has been established.
