LIGHT-SHIP AT PIPER ISLANDS, INNER ROUTE TO
TORRES STRAITS.
ON and after this date a Light will be exhibited from
a Light-ship moored in 13 fathoms, in the following
position, viz.,-
North Piper Island ... W. by S. S.
k. Islet ... N. E.
The Light, which is dioptric, is at an elevation of
35 feet above the water, and will be visible from a
distance of from 10 to 12 miles.

  2. The Money Order Office at Street (Bridgewater)
    will henceforth be called Street (Somerset), Bridge-
    water, to distinguish it from the Sub-Office at Street
    (Dartmouth), which will be known henceforth as
    Street (Devon), Dartmouth.
  3. The Money Order Office at Sandside is subordi-
    nate to Carnforth, not Ulverston, as stated in List of
    Money Order Offices in Circular of 31st ultimo.
    SCOTLAND.
  4. Money Order Offices will be opened at-
    Head Office. County.
    Longside Aberdeen ... Aberdeen.
    Strome Ferry R.S.O. ... Ross.
    IRELAND.
  5. The Money Order Office sanctioned at Went-
    worth Place (Dublin) has not been opened, one
    having been established in lieu of it at Lower Mount
    Street.

INLAND MAIL SERVICES.
General Post Office,
Wellington, 27th April, 1876.
SEALED Tenders will be received at the General
Post Office, Wellington, until Saturday, 20th
May proximo, for the conveyance of Mails twice a
week each way between Napier and Tauranga, by
Four-horse Coach, for a period of one or for two
years, commencing from the 1st July next.
The Postmaster-General to have the power to ter-
minate the Service on giving one month's notice in
writing to that effect.
Forms of tender, together with terms and conditions
of contract, may be procured at any Post Office. No
tender will be considered unless made on the printed
form.
Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Napier and
Tauranga Mail Service," and addressed to the Hon.
the Postmaster-General, Wellington.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be
accepted.
