THE following Regulation, passed by the Municipal
Corporation of the Town of Auckland, is pub-
lished in accordance with the provisions of "The
Municipal Corporations Acts Amendment Act, 1875."

REGULATION No. 21.
CITY STAGE CARRIAGES.
REGULATION of the Council of the City of Auckland,
made under special order of the said Council,
dated the eighteenth day of October, 1875, con-
firmed and sealed with the common seal of the
Council of the said city the fifteenth day of No-
vember, 1875.
IN pursuance of "The Municipal Corporations
Act, 1867," Schedule 13, Part 10, subdivision 1, sec-
tion 48, the Council of the City of Auckland make
the following Regulation, that is to say,-

The Regulation number 16, passed by the said
Council on the 11th day of August, 1873, and in-
tituled "Regulation for City Stage Carriages," is
hereby repealed. -
From and after the date of this Regulation
coming into operation, city stage carriages shall
start and run at the time indorsed on their respec-
tive licenses. -
Every carriage shall start from the respective
stand indorsed upon the license in that behalf. -
The following rates and fares shall be paid by
passengers in city stage carriages:-Grafton Road,
6d.; Parnell and Newmarket, 6d.; Ponsonby and
Newton, 6d.; Remuera, 1s.; Onehunga, 1s. -
The following standings for city stage carriages
are appointed:-Victoria-street East, opposite Grey-
hound Hotel; Queen-street, opposite the National
Bank.

of Brisbane, in the Colony of Queensland, Attorney,
to be a Commissioner in the said Colony of the
Supreme Court of New Zealand, under the second
section of "The Commissioners of the Supreme
Court Act, 1875."

Reserve for Educational Purposes.
WHEREAS by the Regulations for the Sale and
Disposal of Lands taken under the authority of
"The New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863," and "The
New Zealand Settlements Amendment and Continu-
ance Act, 1865," contained in the Schedule to an
Order in Council made and issued, bearing date the
11th day of May, 1871, it is provided that reserves
for roads, and all other public purposes whatever, and
for education, and the sites for churches and chapels
or other places of worship for different religious
denominations, may be made by Government out of
any confiscated lands, and that notices of all such
reserves shall be published in the New Zealand
Gazette: It is hereby notified, that the land specified
in the Schedule hereunder written shall be reserved
for the purposes therein mentioned and set opposite
the descriptions of the said parcels of land.
