Polling Places for Paroa Road Board appointed.

NORMANBY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the thirty-ninth section of "The
County of Westland Act, 1868," it is, amongst
other things, enacted that in and for each road dis-
trict, within fifteen days after the commencement of
the now reciting Act, the Governor shall, and at any
time afterwards when occasion shall require, the
Governor from time to time, if it shall seem fit, on
the application of the Road Board, may appoint a
sufficient number of Polling Places for such road
district at which the poll shall be taken at all elec-
tions held for the same, and may from time to time,
on the like application, alter and vary the same:
And whereas the Board of the Paroa Road District
have applied to have certain Polling Places appointed
in lieu of those hitherto appointed in the said Paroa
Road District:

Now therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in accordance with such application,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the said recited Act, do hereby appoint the
places hereunder mentioned to be Polling Places for
the Paroa Road District in the said Act mentioned,
and in lieu of the places hitherto appointed, that is
to say,-

Road Board Office, Marsden (Principal Polling
Place);
Booth near Davidson's Hotel, Paroa;
Court House, Dunganville;
Court House, Pounamu;
Court House, Maori Gully.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl
of Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and
Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in
the County of York, in the Peerage of the
United Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave
of New Ross, in the County of Wexford,
in the Peerage of Ireland; a Member of
Her Majesty's Most Honorable Privy
Council; Knight Commander of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George; Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the
same; at Wellington, this thirty-first
day of August, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
five.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and
regulations for the sale and disposal of waste lands in
the Province of Westland, I hereby reserve the lands
in the said Province of Westland, the boundaries
whereof are described in the Schedule hereunto
annexed, for the uses of the Colonial Government,
and other public purposes, as in the said Schedule is
more particularly specified.

SCHEDULE.
RESERVE No. 98.
Two acres and thirty-eight perches, more or less,
situate in the Town of Hokitika; bounded on the
North-eastward by Park Street, for five hundred links;
on the South-eastward by Sale Street, for four hun-
dred and fifty links; on the South-westward by Sec-
tions 1063 and 1033, for four hundred and sixty-three
links, and by Haast Street for forty-nine links; and
on the North-westward by Brittan Street, for four
hundred and sixteen links, and including Sections
numbered 1034, 1035, 1036, 1037, 1038, 1039, 1040,
1041, and 1042-for General Government purposes.

RESERVE No. 99.
Two acres and twenty perches, more or less,
situate in the Town of Hokitika; bounded on the
North-eastward by Park Street, for five hundred
links; on the South-eastward by Rolleston Street,
for four hundred and fifty links; on the South-
westward by Sections 381 and 1075, for five hundred
links; and on the North-westward by Sale Street,
for two hundred and fifty links; by south-western
boundary of Municipal Reserve No. 541 (in red),
two hundred and fifty links; south-eastern boundary
of said reserve, fifty links; north-eastern boundary,
two hundred and fifty links; and by other part of
Sale Street aforesaid, one hundred and fifty links, to
Park Street, and comprising Sections numbered 383,
385, 391, 389, 387, 377, 375, 373, 371, and 1076-
for General Government purposes.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1872," I, George
Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the
place mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto as and to be the place at which the
Public Vaccinator appointed for the district mentioned in the first column of the said Schedule shall
attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I do hereby give notice that
such Public Vaccinator will attend at the place aforesaid, for the purpose of performing such vaccination,
on the day and at the hour set forth in the third column of the said Schedule, opposite the name of
