Appointment of Examination Shed at Thames.

CUSTOMS. In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act Amendment Act, 1868," I, the Commissioner
of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the
under-mentioned Warehouse, viz.,-

Port of Thames.

A wooden building covered with shingles, situate
on Shortland Wharf, to be a Warehouse where goods
may be deposited for Examination on the landing
thereof.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
twentieth day of August, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-five.

Inquiry for a Missing Person.

INQUIRIES have been made respecting a person
named

THOMAS A. KENNEDY,

a native of Barbadoes, who sailed from London Docks
about five years ago, as second mate in a vessel bound
for Yokohama, Japan. He was last seen by a friend
of his (name unknown) near the shipping Port of
Wellington or Auckland, in New Zealand. He is a
short, stout, muscular man, about thirty-six years of
age. Any person possessing information respecting
the person above named is requested to communicate
the same to this office.

the Writ issued by him on the twentieth day of
July, 1875, for the election of a Member to serve

under-mentioned gentleman has been duly elected
Member for such District, viz.,-

DIVORCE AND MATRIMONIAL CAUSES JURISDICTION.

NOTICE is hereby given, that three or more of the
Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand
will sit at the Supreme Court House, Wellington,
on Monday, the fifteenth day of November next, at
eleven o'clock in the forenoon, to hear and determine
Petitions for the Dissolution or for a Sentence of
Nullity of Marriage, under section 60 of "The
Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1867," and also
for the despatch of all other business accruing under
the said Act.

Dated at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day o
August, 1875.

THE following Regulation with regard to Wool is
substituted for section 3, clause 10, of the
General Regulations issued by the Commissioners :-
Wool.-Net weight of each exhibit, if washed or
scoured, to be 112 lbs.
If shown in the grease each exhibit to consist of
ten fleeces, no skirting removed.
Each exhibit to be accompanied by the following
statement :--
Owner's name.
Breeder's name.
Breed of animals.
Age.
Sex.
Where bred.
If imported, date of importation.
If imported, whence imported.
If imported, age when imported.
Date of this shearing.
Date of previous shearing.
