should be limited to the port or harbour for which
such Board was constituted : And whereas it is
expedient that all the powers and authorities vested
in me as Superintendent of the Province of Otago,
under "The Marine Act, 1867," so far as such powers
and authorities are applicable to and may be exer-
cised in the Port of Oamaru, should be delegated to
"The Oamaru Harbour Board:"

Now therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superinten-
dent of the Province of Otago, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said province, and in pursuance and exercise of the
powers vested in me by "The Harbour Boards Act,
1870," and of any and every power in anywise en-
abling me in this behalf, do hereby delegate to "The
Oamaru Harbour Board" all the powers and authori-
ties vested in me under "The Marine Act, 1867,"
or any amendment thereof, so far as such powers and
authorities can be exercised in the Port of Oamaru,
and so as the same be exercised only at and for the
said port, but subject always to the following restric-
tions or stipulations, that is to say,-

  1. That nothing herein contained shall give or
    be construed to give to the said Board power
    to levy dues on any goods passing over any
    railway pier which may hereafter be erected
    by or for Her Majesty the Queen, within the
    Port of Oamaru.

  2. That nothing herein contained shall give or
    be construed to give to the said Board power
    to interfere with or prevent the Proclamation,
    by the Superintendent of the Province of
    Otago, of any land within the Port of Oamaru,
    which is now or hereafter may be vested in
    the Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

  3. That after the thirty-first day of March, one
    thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, the
    said Board shall, out of their own funds, pay
    and provide for the salaries of the Harbour
    Master and other persons for the time being
    employed by the Board at the Port of Oamaru.

Given under my hand, and issued under the
Public Seal of the Province of Otago, at
Dunedin, this sixteenth day of June, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

Approving and appointing Bonding Warehouses.

CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned
Warehouses, viz.,-

Port of Auckland.

A building of brick, with slated roof, situate at the
corner of Fort and Commerce Streets, on Allotments
8 and 13, Section 2, City of Auckland, and known as
ISAACS' BOND.

Port of Wanganui.

A detached wooden building, covered with iron,
situate on Section No. 41, at the rear of the premises
known as Finnimore's Stores, Taupo Quay, Town of
Wanganui, and known as
WRIGHT'S BOND.

Port of Wellington.

A two-storied building built of brick, situate
immediately at the back of Messrs. Jacob Joseph
and Co.'s Store in Willis Street, and known as
JACOB JOSEPH AND CO'S BOND.


Port of Greymouth.

Part of a wooden and iron store, situate in Werita
Street, in the Port of Greymouth, having an entrance
by a right of way from Werita Street, and known as
GRIFFEN'S BOND.

Port of Lyttelton.

A stone building, situate in Tuam Street, Christ-
church, and known as
THE CITY BOND.

Port of Dunedin.

The front portion of a brick and stone building,
situate in High Street, Dunedin, built on Section 36,
Block VI., and known as
THE HIGH STREET BOND.

Port of Riverton.

A wooden building, with iron roof, situate on
Section 1, Block I., Palmerston Street, and known as
WILSON AND Co.'S BOND.

-to be Warehouses for the reception of Goods unde
Bond.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-five.

Revocation of a Bonding Warehouse.

CUSTOMS. - Whereas a building situate in Tuam
Street, Christchurch, in the Port of Lyttelton,
and known as
THIEL'S WAREHOUSE,

was by an Order dated the 8th day of November, 1866,
appointed to be a Warehouse for the reception of
Goods under Bond: Now, in exercise of the authority
in me for this purpose vested, I, the Commissioner
of Customs, do by this Order under my hand revoke
and annul the appointment of the said building as
such Warehouse as aforesaid.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-five.

Appointment of Examination Sheds at Dunedin.

CUSTOMS. - In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act Amendment Act, 1868," I, the Commis-
sioner of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint
the under-mentioned Warehouses, viz.,-

Port of Dunedin.

The Warehouses marked respectively
"A," "B," "C," and "D,"
situate at the Dunedin Station of the Dunedin and
Port Chalmers Railway, Otago, to be Warehouses
where Goods may be deposited for Examination on
the landing thereof.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-five.
