Bonus Conditions and Appointments

  1. The ware in respect of which the bonus is
    claimed will be examined by an officer appointed by
    the Government for the purpose, who may, if he
    thinks fit, require the production of bond fide account
    sales, showing that the whole or a sufficient portion
    of the pottery has been sold at a fair market price.

LINSEED OIL.
BONUS OF £500.
For the production by machinery permanently
established in the Colony of 10,000 gallons of Linseed
Oil of good marketable quality, and from linseed
grown in the colony.

Conditions.

  1. Notice of intention to claim the bonus must be
    given to the Colonial Secretary before the 31st
    December, 1875.
  2. The bonus must be claimed before the 30th
    June, 1876.
  3. The oil in respect of which the bonus is claimed
    will be examined by an officer appointed by the
    Government for the purpose, who may, if he thinks
    fit, require the production of bond fide account sales,
    showing that the whole or a sufficient portion of the
    oil has been sold at a fair market price.

IRON AND STEEL.
The time for claiming the bonus for the production
of Iron and Steel, as fixed by the former advertise-
ments, above quoted, is extended to the 30th June,
1876, the conditions in both cases remaining the
same as previously advertised.

PAPER.
The bonus offered for the manufacture of paper
not having been claimed, a sum of £1,500 is hereby
offered as a bonus for the production of the first 50
tons of Gray or Wrapping Paper; and a further
bonus of £1,000 is also hereby offered for the produc-
tion of the first 50 tons of Printing Paper.

Conditions.

  1. Notice of intention to claim this bonus must be

    June, 1876.
  3. The paper must be made by machinery per-
    manently established and working in the colony.
  4. The bonus will be paid to the producer who
    effects the first bona fide sale of the amount of
    wrapping or printing paper specified above.

JOHN BUNYAN MCKENZIE, Esq.,
to be the Deputy of the Registrar of Marriages, and
of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, for the District of
Waipu, as the same is defined in Proclamation of the
24th day of October, 1871, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette, No. 57, of the 25th day of October,
1871.
