I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register "The Eldorado Gold Mining Com-
pany" as a Limited Company, under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."
- The name of the Company is to be "The Eldorado Gold
Mining Company, Limited." - The place of operations is at Pakirarahi Block, adjoining
the Tairua Claim, District of Hauraki, Province of Auckland,
and Colony of New Zealand. - The registered office of the Company will be situated at
Davy and Albert Streets, Grahamstown. - The nominal capital of the Company is six thousand
pounds sterling, in six thousand shares of one pound sterling
each. - The number of shares subscribed for is six thousand,
being the entire number of shares in the Company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is nil.
- The name of the Manager is Dennis Gilmore MacDonnell.
- The names and addresses and occupations of the share-

STATEMENT of the Affairs of "The Totara and
Jones Creek Amalgamated Water Race Com-
pany, Registered," for the half-year, in accordance
with section 135 of "The Mining Companies Act,
1872."
Name of Company: "The Totara and Jones Creek Amalga-
mated Water Race Company, Registered."
When formed, and date of registration: 26th August, 1866;
7th September, 1866.
Where business is conducted, and name of Legal Manager:
Ross, Totara District, Province of Westland; Camille
Malfroy.
Nominal capital: £12,800.
Amount of paid-up scrip given to shareholders: £8,400, being
estimated value of the two races at the time of the amalga-
mation, 26th August, 1866.
Number of shares in which capital is divided: 1,280.
Number of shares taken: 1,280.
Amount of calls made: Nil.
Total amount of subscribed capital paid up: £12,800, as
follows: -Paid-up scrip given to shareholders as above,
£8,400; amount paid out of proceeds of races in extension,
improvement, and in purchase of other races, £4,400, equal
to £12,800.
