IT is hereby notified, that the Native Title has been
extinguished over all that portion of the block
of land whereof the boundaries are mentioned or
described in the Schedule hereunto annexed, lying to
the North of the 39th parallel of latitude.

NUHAKA BLOCK.
COMMENCING at the mouth of the Nuhaka River;
thence along that river to Rangataua, to Tangaka-
kariki, to Mareikura, to Wharewera, to Umumihia,
to Ohipana, Opito, Toromiro, Kahakaharoa, Omako,
Te Arawhata, Te Whareo-tamanuhiri, Te Hiwera, Te
Waiwhakaau, Te Umuoruaherea, Taumata Horihori,
Taumata o Ririki, Te Kereru, Taumatakaingakaka,
Te Ikatieri, Taumataotahinga, Ngawhakatakariri,
Puketeaniu, Tamahine a Tutaorau, Parihikanui;
thence to the coast; thence along the coast to Wai-
kokopu, Te Huki, Takararoa, Te Iho o te Rataru, Te
Uruti, Te Awaotamatea, Waitaniwha, Waimama,
Hokehou o Tu, Te Awaoputa, Waitio, Whateroa,
where it joins the mouth of the river of Nuhaka, the
commencing point.

Money Order and Savings Banks Offices will be
opened at
TAUPO (Chief Office, Napier),
TAPANUI (Chief Office, Dunedin), and at
GERALDINE (Chief Office, Christchurch),
from the 1st June next.

Notice under Section 12 of "The Public Revenues
Act, 1872."
Treasury,
Wellington, 10th May, 1875.
OFFICERS holding advances of Public Money are
hereby required to pay to the Public Account,
at the nearest branch of the Bank of New Zealand,
the total unexpended balances in their hands on or
before Saturday, the 26th day of June proximo, so as
to close absolutely all Advance Accounts on that
date, and forthwith to transmit the Bank Receipt for
such repayments to the Treasury at Wellington.
As respects disbursements which officers may re-
quire to make between the date of refund of their
balances and the 30th June, special requisitions for
the amount required are to be made by telegram, but
such requisitions are not to include provisions for
expenditure of the financial year 1875-76. Sums
required for the service of that year are to be applied
for by post in the usual form.
