I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register "The Northumberland Gold Mining
Company" as a Limited Company, under the pro-
visions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be "The Northumber-
    land Gold Mining Company, Limited."
  2. The place of operations is at Lightband's Gully, Colling-
    wood.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    the premises of Messrs. Veale and Haddow, of the City of
    Nelson, Corn Factors, in Collingwood Street.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is two thousand
    one hundred and sixty pounds, in seventy-two shares of thirty
    pounds each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is seventy-two, being
    the entire number of shares in the Company.
  6. None of the shares are paid up.
  7. The amount already paid up is twenty-two pounds and ten
    shillings per share.
  8. The name of the Manager is William Haddow.
  9. The names and addresses and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are
