SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of £2
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE.
An extra subscription of 10s. to the Gazette will entitle each
yearly subscriber to the Acts of the General Assembly as pub-
lished during the year.
Single copies of the Gazette, 1s. each, may be procured through
any Bookseller.

ADVERTISEMENTS will be charged for according to the
following scale :---

Headings, date lines, signatures, &c., re-
quiring to be printed in separate lines, to

Application to register Mining Companies,
20s., with 6d. per line added for the
name of each shareholder.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper,
and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

All applications for subscription or for the insertion of private
advertisements in the New Zealand Gazette, except from places
where Agents have been appointed for that purpose, should be
addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, and at the
same time, pre-payment (by money order when necessary) at
the above rates must be made to him.

NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL IN FUTURE BE INSERTED UNTIL
ALL CHARGES THEREON HAVE BEEN PAID.

Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post-office orders are issued,
and, under any circumstances, are subject to a deduction at the
rate of one shilling in the pound.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act,
1870,” unless caveat in the meantime be lodged for-
bidding the same, within one calendar month after
the publication of this notice.

SAMUEL JOHNSTON.—1 rood 37 perches, part
of Rural Section 6, Christchurch District, fronting on
southern boundary of section 143 links, with a depth
of 350 links or thereabouts, its south-eastern corner
being 743 links from south-eastern corner of section.

ASHLEY GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED.

AN Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders in
“The Ashley Gold Mining Company, Regis-
tered,” held at the office of the Company, Shortland
Street, Auckland, 29th June, 1874, at which Meeting
more than two-thirds of the number and value were
represented, a Resolution was carried for the volun-
tary winding up of the said Company. All debts of
the said Company having been liquidated, I hereby
declare it dissolved, pursuant to the provisions of the
112th section of “The Mining Companies Act,
1872.”
