THE COLONIAL BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the
Deed of Settlement of the Colonial Bank of
New Zealand, a Special General Meeting of the
Proprietors of the said Bank will be held at the
Masonic Hall, Moray Place, Dunedin, in the Province
of Otago, on Wednesday, the thirtieth day of Sep-
tember, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
four, at two o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing
seven Directors and two Auditors, to be the first
Directors and Auditors of the said Bank.
And that every proprietor who is possessed of
three hundred shares at the least in the capital of
the said Bank, and shall become a candidate for the 443
office of Director, must give notice thereof to the
Board of Directors, in writing, to be left at the
offices of the said Bank, in High Street, Dunedin
aforesaid, thirty days at least before the day of
election.
And that every person appointed to act as proxy
must be a proprietor of the said Bank; and every
proxy must be in writing, under the hand of the
proprietor of the shares in respect of which such
proxy shall be given, and delivered to the Secretary
of the said Bank at least twenty-four hours before
the time appointed for the said meeting.
Copies of the said Deed of Settlement, and proxy
forms, may be had on application at the office of the
said Bank, in High Street, Dunedin aforesaid.
