NOTICE TO MARINERS.
No. 17 of 1874.

ENTRANCE TO PORT NICHOLSON, COOK STRAIT.
Customs Department (Marine Branch),
Wellington, 15th July, 1874.
NOTICE has been received from the Harbour
Master, Wellington, that Pilot Holmes reports
the existence of two Sunken Rocks off Barrett's Reef,
one lying about 100 feet to the eastward, and the
other about the same distance to the westward, of
the Outer Rock-the three lying nearly in a line
East and West. There is 12 feet water on these
rocks at low water, with deep water all round.
