boundary of Section No. 5 of the Suburbs of Auck-
land, from the north-western angle of Allotment No.
35 to the north-eastern angle of Allotment No. 1 of
Section No. 5 aforesaid, and by the northern boundary
of Allotment No. 1 of Section No. 7 to the road which
forms its eastern boundary; towards the East by the
road which forms the eastern boundary of Allotment
No. 1 of Section No. 7 aforesaid, and also the north-
eastern boundary of Allotment No. 2 of Section
No. 10 to the northernmost point of Allotment No. 1
of said section, thence by the north-western boundary
of Allotment No. 1 of Section No. 10 of the Suburbs
of Auckland aforesaid, the north-eastern boundaries
of Allotments No. 2H and 2g, and the northern
boundary of Allotment No. 2g last named to the
eastern side of the Mount Roskill Road, and con-
tinuing northerly along its eastern side to the north-
western angle of Allotment No. 2F of said Section
No. 10, thence westerly crossing the Mount Roskill
Road to its western side, and continuing southerly
along said road to a line parallel to and at a distance
of about 235 links from the road which forms the
north-western boundary of Allotment No. 11 of
Section No. 10 aforesaid, thence by said line
westerly to the north-western angle of Mr. Baker's
land, and continuing southerly along the western
boundary of said land and by the same boundary
produced in a southerly direction to the northern
boundary of Allotment No. 136, also of Section
No. 10 of the Suburbs of Auckland before men-
tioned, thence westerly by the northern boundary
of Allotment No. 136 aforesaid to the north-eastern
angle of Allotment No. 137 of Section No. 10 afore-
said, thence by the eastern boundary of Allotment
No. 137 aforesaid, and the eastern boundaries of
Allotments Nos. 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144,
145, 146, and 178 of Section No. 10 aforesaid, as also
the eastern boundary of Allotment No. 46 of the
Parish of Titirangi, to its south-eastern angle; to-
wards the South by the centre of the road which
forms the south-western boundary of Allotment No.
46 aforesaid, and the south-west boundaries of Allot-
ments Nos. 45 and 44, and part of the south-western
boundary of Allotment No. 43 to the road which
forms the south-eastern boundary of Allotment
No. 50, thence by the centre of said road to a point
being in continuation of the north-eastern boundary
of Allotment No. 51, thence crossing the before-
mentioned road and by the north-eastern and south-
eastern boundaries of Allotment No. 51 aforesaid to
the road which forms its south-western boundary,
thence crossing said road and by the south-eastern
boundary of Allotment No. 52 to the rivulet, thence
westerly along said rivulet to the north-eastern
boundary of Allotment No. 65; towards the West by
the rivulet aforesaid from the north-eastern angle of
said Lot No. 65 to a line running parallel to and at a
distance of three chains from the southern side of
the New North Road, thence by said line to the road
which forms the eastern boundary of Allotment
No. 64, thence northerly by the centre of the said
road to the southern boundary of Allotment No. 62,
thence easterly by said boundary to Oakley's Stream,
and by said stream to the south-western angle of
Allotment No. 32; and towards the North-west by
the southern boundary of Allotment No. 32 aforesaid
to the road which forms its eastern boundary, thence
crossing said road and by the southern and eastern
boundaries of Allotment No. 35 and the eastern
boundary of Allotment No. 29, all of the Parish of
Titirangi aforesaid, to the Meola Stream, thence by
the said stream eastward to the south-western point
of Allotment No. 172 of Section No. 10 of the Suburbs
of Auckland aforesaid, thence by the north-western
and north-eastern boundaries of said Allotment No.
172 to the road which forms its eastern boundary,
thence northerly along the centre of said road to its
junction with the road which forms the north-
eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 176 and 177
of said Section No. 10, and continuing along the
centre of said road to the south-western angle of
Allotment No. 37 of Section No. 5 of the Suburbs of
Auckland aforesaid, thence by the western boundary
of said Allotment No. 37 and the western boundary
of said Allotments Nos. 36 and 35 of Section No. 5
aforesaid to the point of commencement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At Wellington, this fifth day of June, 1874.

THE HONORABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Waste Lands Act, 1858,"
it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the
Governor in Council, at any time and from time to
time, to except from sale, and either reserve to Her
Majesty or dispose of in such other manner as for
the public interest may seem best, such of the waste
lands of the Crown in any of the Provinces of the
Colony as may be required for the purposes of
military defence, or for the construction of trunk
lines of road, or as sites for public buildings for
the use of the General Government, or for other
purposes of public utility or convenience:
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the Colony, in exercise and pursuance of
the power and authority in that behalf vested in him,
doth hereby except from sale and reserve to Her
Majesty the parcel of the waste lands of the Crown
particularly specified and described in the Schedule
hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule mentioned, and set opposite the description
of the said parcel of land.
