to be Registrar of Marriages, and of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, and also Vaccination Inspector, for the District of Motueka, as the same is defined in Proclamation of the 8th day of May, 1873, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 28, of the 9th of May, 1873.

Increase in the Rate of Interest on Deposits in the Post Office Savings Bank.
NOTICE is hereby given, that after the 30th day of June instant, the interest allowed on every complete pound deposited in the Post Office Savings Bank will be increased from 4 to 4½ per centum per annum on sums not exceeding £200, and from 3 to 4 per centum per annum on sums over £200, and in the same proportion for any shorter time: Provided that no interest shall be allowed on sums over £500.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonded Warehouses.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, William Hunter Reynolds, the Commissioner of Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul the appointment of the under-mentioned buildings as Warehouses for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, viz.,—
Port of Wanganui.
A wooden building situate on Taupo Quay, lately in the occupation of Mr. William Finnimore, and known as
OWEN’S BOND.
Port of Napier.
A building situate on Section No. 512, in Waghorn Street, and known as
STUART AND CO.’S BOND.
