MR. J. M. MCCOURT, Master of the schooner
"Wikengen," reports sighting, in the following
position, a reef partially dry at low water:-
Jane Table Land ... S.E. southerly.
Northernmost Flinders Island, E.N.E.
A depth of 7 and 8 fathoms was found close to on all
sides.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat in the meantime be lodged
forbidding the same.

One-quarter of an acre in the Town of Picton,
being Section 272 on the plan of the said town.--

NOTICE is hereby given to Shareholders, that the
Third Call of Ten Shillings per Share upon
Shares on the Colonial Register will be due and pay-
able on the 31st instant at the Bank in Auckland,
Blenheim, Cardrona, Christchurch, Clutha Ferry,
Coromandel, Dunedin, Grahamstown, Hamilton, In-
vercargill, Napier, Nelson, New Plymouth, Oamaru,
Palmerston, Port Chalmers, Queenstown, Reefton,
Riverton, Switzers, Tauranga, Taieri, Temuka,
Timaru, Tokomairiro, Wanganui, and Wellington, or
at the Branch of the Union Bank of Australia at
Hokitika.

Notice is further given, that, by a Resolution of
the Board of Directors dated 11th August last, a Call
of One Pound per Share was made; the same will
be payable at the before-named Branches, in two
instalments of ten shillings each, viz. :-Ten Shillings
on 1st April, 1874, and Ten Shillings on 1st July
thereafter.
