HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
accept the resignation of the commissions held
by the under-mentioned officers, viz. :-

Captain A. H. Russell, New Zealand Militia.
Captain J. M. Jamieson, No. 2 (Dunedin Scottish)
Company, Otago Rifle Volunteers.
Lieutenant R. H. Leary, North Dunedin Rifle
Volunteers.
Lieutenant F. J. Gane, Spring Creek Rifle Volun-
teers.
Sub-Lieutenant E. D. Butts, Invercargill Artillery
Volunteers.

disband
The Motueka Rifle Volunteer Cadet Corps.

The under-mentioned gentlemen have therefore
ceased to hold the rank of officers, their commissions
having, under the provisions of "The Volunteer
Act, 1865," lapsed :-

Mr. Edmund Parker, late Honorary Captain.
Mr. Wynford Horneman, late Honorary Lieu-
tenant.
Mr. Solomon Bucholz, late Honorary Sub-Lieu-
tenant.

Auckland Rifle Volunteer Brigade dissolved.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased
to dissolve
The Auckland Rifle Volunteer Brigade,
consisting of Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 Companies;
To discontinue the services of the No. 2 Company
at their own request;
And to make the following alterations in the designa-
tions of the Nos. 1, 3, and 4 Companies, viz.,-
No. 1 Company to be No. 2 (City) Company,
Auckland Rifle Volunteers.
No. 3 Company to be No. 3 Company, Auckland
Rifle Volunteers.
No. 4 Company to be No. 4 Company, Auckland
Rifle Volunteers.

The under-mentioned gentlemen will therefore
cease to hold the rank of officers in the Brigade, their
commissions having, under the provisions of "The
Volunteer Act, 1865," lapsed:--

Lieutenant-Colonel W. C. Lyon, late Honorary
Lieutenant-Colonel.
Major Wm. Gordon, late Major Commanding.
J. H. Hooper, Esq., L.S.A.L., late Surgeon.
Thomas Barnett, Esq., late Captain, No. 2 Com-
pany.

  1. Money Order Offices will be opened in London
    and the Suburbs at-

Junction Road, Upper Holloway (No. 245) N.
Stoke Newington Road (No. 5) N.
Walworth Road (No. 388) S.E.

  1. The Offices at Campbell Road, E., Shacklewell
    Lane, E., and Upper Tachbrook Street, S.W., will be
    abolished.

  2. A Branch Office will be opened at Churton
    Street, S.W., in place of the present Receiving
    Office.

  3. Money Order Offices will be opened in the
    Country at-
