HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint
Major WILLIAM GORDON, New Zealand Militia,
to be Inspector of the New Zealand Volunteer Force
for the current year.
Date of commission, 16th October, 1873.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased
to make the under-mentioned appointments,
viz.:-

In the West Taieri Rifle Volunteers.
Thomas Henry Blatch to be Sub-Lieutenant. Date
of commission, 23rd September, 1873.

In the Bruce Company, Otago Rifle Volunteers.
James Scott to be Lieutenant. Date of commission,
22nd May, 1872.
William Popplewell to be Sub-Lieutenant. Date of
commission, 22nd May, 1872.
