Appointment of Trustee under "The Maori Real
Estate Management Act, 1867."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-fourth day of September, 1873.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted, that if any title
to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue to
any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or in-
terest therein, as shall to the Governor in Council be
shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a certificate of title bearing
date the twenty-first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-three, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto became
vested in Parematau Ngamoko: And whereas the
said Parematau Ngamoko is an infant under the age
of twenty-one years:
Now therefore, His Excellency Sir James Fergus-
son, Baronet, the Governor of New Zealand, with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the Colony, in exercise and in pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act,
doth hereby order that the land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and remain vested in
TARETE TE PARI,
as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Putiki, in the
District of Whanganui, in the Province of Wel-
lington, and called or known by the name of Ngongo-
hau No. 5, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and
27 perches, be the same more or less; bounded
towards the North-east by the Ngongohau No. 4
Block, 1,544 links; towards the South-east by the
Paranuiamata No. 2 Block, 155 links; towards the
South-west by the Ngongohau No. 1 Block, 476
links, 13 links, 850 links, and 245 links; and towards
the North-west by the Whanganui River.

Fixing Sitting of Court of Appeal.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-fourth day of September, 1873.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS by "The Court of Appeal Act, 1862,"
and "The Court of Appeal Act Amendment
Act, 1870," it is enacted that the Court shall hold
its sittings at such times and places as shall be from
time to time fixed by the Governor in Council and
proclaimed in the Government Gazette thirty days
at least before the times so fixed respectively:
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
New Zealand, doth hereby fix that a Sitting of the
Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within
the Supreme Court House, in the City of Wellington
and Province of Wellington, upon the tenth day of
November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
three, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon.
