THE following Ordinance passed by the Provincial
Council and reserved by the Superintendent of
the Province of Nelson for the signification of the
Governor's pleasure thereon, intituled

"The Nelson Electoral Districts Act Amendment
Act, 1873,"

having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency
has been pleased to assent to the same.

"An Act to amend the Cattle Trespass Act,
1868;"
"The Education Act Amendment Act, 1873;"
"The Gold Fields Local Revenues Act, 1873,"
and
"The Appropriation Act, 1873-74,"

having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency
has not been advised to exercise his power of dis-
allowance with respect to them.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint

JAMES B. GREIG, Esq.,

to be Registrar of Marriages, and of Births, Deaths,
and Marriages, and Vaccination Inspector, for the
District of Stewart's Island, as the same is defined
in Proclamation of 6th day of July, and published
in New Zealand Gazette, No. 21, of 6th July, 1859.

WILLIAM CLEAVER ANCELL

to be Deputy of the Registrar of Marriages, and of
Births, Deaths, and Marriages, for the District of
Waikouaiti, as the same is defined in Proclamation

of 18th day of November, and published in New
Zealand Gazette
, No. 64, of 5th December, 1872.
