hundred and sixteen N (416N), containing two (2)
acres two (2) roods, being an island in the said har-
bour, adjacent to the above-described land, bounded
on all sides by high waterline on the shore of the

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
third day of September, 1873.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted, that if any title
to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue to
any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or in-
terest therein, as shall to the Governor in Council be
shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a certificate of title bearing
date the twenty-first day of July, 1873, the parcel of
land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto became vested in Kerehi Kaipo and Penetana
Kaipo: And whereas the said Kerehi Kaipo and
Penetana Kaipo are infants under the age of twenty-
one years:
Now therefore, His Excellency Sir James Fergus-
son, Baronet, the Governor of New Zealand, with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
Colony, in exercise and in pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the said Act, doth
hereby order that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and remain vested in
HAURAKI REWIIA,
as Trustee within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land at Waiarohia, in the
District of Hokianga, in the Province of Auckland,
and called or known by the name of Te Piriti No. 1,
and containing by admeasurement one acre and
thirty-three perches, be the same more or less;
bounded towards the North-west by the Putoetoe
No. 21 Block, 1,305 links; towards the North-east by
a line 75 links; towards the South-east by Te Piriti
No. 2 Block, 1,280 links; and towards the South-
west by the Hokianga River.

links; towards the South by the Putoetoe No. 12
Block, 1,332 links; and towards the West by the
Hokianga River.

Establishing Port of Tauranga.

IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose
vested by "The Customs Regulation Act, 1858,"
I, Sir James Fergusson, Baronet, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint that on
and from the first day of September next there shall
be a Port, to be called
THE PORT OF TAURANGA,
the limits whereof shall be as follows:-All the
navigable waters included within a radius seaward
of one and a half nautic mile from the centre of
Mount Maunganui, and a straight line drawn from
Omokoroa Point to Pouni Point, and including the
Township of Te Papa.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Right Honorable Sir James Fergusson,
Baronet, a Member of Her Majesty's
Most Honorable Privy Council, Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the
same, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of
August, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-
three.
