PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following names of Officiating Ministers
within the meaning of the said Act are published for
general information:---

United Church of England and Ireland.
The Reverend RUPENA PAERATA.
The Reverend FREDERICK THOMAS BAKER.

I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of Births,
Deaths, and Marriages in New Zealand, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Names of Officiating
Ministers, within the meaning of "The Marriage
Act, 1854," have been sent in to me, in addition to
the names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 6, of the 30th January; No. 9, of the
13th February; No. 11, of the 27th February; No.
17, of the 20th March; No. 22, of the 10th April;
No. 25, of the 24th April; No. 26, of the 1st May;
No. 30, of the 15th May; No. 31, of the 22nd May;
No. 38, of the 12th June, and No. 41, of the 26th
June, in the present year.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
thirtieth day of June, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-three.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat in the meantime be lodged
forbidding the same.

HENRY HOFMEISTER.-7\u00bd perches, part of
Section 508, Christchurch City; commencing at a
point on Kilmore Street, 66 links west from the 376
south-eastern corner of the section, and having a
frontage of 65 links on said street.

THOMAS TOWNSHEND.-1 acre 1 rood 1 perch,
part of Rural Section 79, Christchurch District;
commencing at a point on the northern boundary of
section distant 200 links west from the junction of
the Town Belt with the west side of Colombo Street
South; thence westerly along said boundary 360
links, and extending back southerly therefrom in a

of last-mentioned parcel of land; thence westerly

THOMAS MABERLEY HASSAL.-1 acre 3
roods 23 perches, part of Lot 122, Town Reserves,
Christchurch; commencing at a point in Manchester
Street 305 links southerly from the north-western
corner of the lot; thence southerly along said street
225 feet, and extending back easterly therefrom in

THOMAS MOONEY.-20\u00bd perches, part of
Rural Section 175, Christchurch District; com-
mencing at a point on Stanmore Road 450 links
easterly from the north-western corner of the section;
thence easterly along said road 50 links, and ex-
tending back southerly therefrom in a rectangular

JAMES MOORE.-40 acres, Rural Section 6628,

GILBERT BUTLER.-1 rood 14 perches, part
of Lot 73, Town Reserves, Christchurch; com-
mencing at the north-eastern corner of the lot, and
having a frontage on Durham Street of 85 links, and
also on a road reserved through the lot of 100 links,
the last-mentioned frontage commencing 200 links,
westerly from said street and extending back from
said street and road in a rectangular block 300 links

JOHN TERRAS BELL.-1 rood, part of Rural
Section 79, Christchurch District; commencing at
the north-western corner of secondly above described
parcel of land; thence westerly along the Town Belt
72 links, and extending back southerly therefrom in
a rectangular block 350 links. (Charles Clark,
Broker.)

Caveat in each case must be lodged within one
calendar month after the publication of this notice.
Diagrams may be inspected at this office.
