  1. COROMANDEL DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the South by the Waikawau River
    and by a straight line running in an easterly direction
    from its source to the mouth of the Oyster River of
    Mercury Bay; on the West, North, and East by the
    sea, including the Great Mercury Island and all the
    adjacent islands on the coast.

  2. SHORTLAND DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North by the Waikawau River
    from the sea to its source, thence by a straight line
    extending in an easterly direction to the mouth of the
    Oyster River of Mercury Bay; on the North-east by
    Mercury Bay; on the East by the sea; on the South-
    east by the Wangamata Harbour and by a straight
    line extending from the South Head of Wangamata
    Harbour to the summit of Te Aroha, and thence by a
    straight line to Matanmata; on the South by a straight
    line from Matamata to the junction of the Waitaruru
    Creek with the Piako River; on the West by the
    Piako River; and on the North-west by the Frith of
    the Thames.

  3. DRURY DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North by the waters of the
    Manukau Harbour from Karaka Creek to Papakura
    Creek; by the centre of Papakura Creek, by the
    northern and eastern boundaries of the village of
    Papakura; by Hewling's line to the Wairoa River,
    and crossing the Wairoa River by that river to the
    sea; on the East by the Gulf of the Thames, and by
    the Piako River to the junction of the Tahunatapu
    Creek; thence on the South by a straight line to
    Puketakauri, on the Waikato River; thence across
    that river in a straight line to the south shore of
    Wangape Lake; and thence in a straight line
    running west-south-west to the West Coast; on the
    West by the sea from the last-mentioned point to
    Waikato Heads; thence, again on the North, by the
    Waikato River to the eastern boundary line of Puni
    Parish, near to Cameron Town; and thence, again
    on the West, by the boundary of Awitu District, to
    Karaka Creek, the point of commencement.

  4. AWITU DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North by the waters of the
    Manukau Harbour from Manukau Heads to Karaka
    Creek; on the East, from the centre of Karaka Creek,
    by the line dividing Karaka and Waiau Parishes,
    by an extension of that straight line through Puni
    to the eastern boundary of Puni Parish, near to
    Cameron Town, on the Waikato River, and thence
    by that boundary to the Waikato; on the South by
    the Waikato River to the West Coast; and on the
    West by the sea to the Manukau Heads, the point of
    commencement.

  5. RAGLAN DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North by the southern shore of
    the Wangape Lake and by a straight line running
    west-south-west from the western angle of the
    Wangape Lake to the West Coast; on the West by
    the sea southward to the Mokau River; on the South
    by the Mokau River, from the mouth to the source;
    and on the East by a straight line from the source of
    the Mokau River to the summit of Pirongia, and by
    a straight line from the summit of Pirongia to the
    Wangape Lake, at the point of commencement.

  6. ALEXANDRA DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North by a line from the southern
    shore of the Wangape Lake to the Waikato River at
    Puketakauri, by the Waikato River to Puketa; on
    the East by a line from Puketa to Kihikihi and a
    line from Kihikihi to the most western point of the
    shore of Taupo Lake, thence by the western shore
    of Taupo Lake and Upper Waikato River to the
    southern boundary of the Province; on the South by
    the boundary of the Province; on the West by the
    western boundary of the Province from the Wanga-
    nui River to the source of the Mokau River, thence
    by a straight line to the summit of Pirongia, and
    thence by a straight line to the Wangape Lake, at the
    point of commencement.

  7. CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT.
    Bounded on the North by a straight line from
    Puketakauri, on the Waikato River, to the junction of
    the Tahunatapu Creek with the Piako River; on the
    East by the Piako River southward to the Waita-
    kururu Creek, thence by a straight line to the junc-
    tion of the Orakeikorako Stream with the Waikato
    River, and by the Waikato southward to Taupo
    Lake; on the South by the northern shore of Taupo
    Lake; and on the West by a straight line from the
    most westerly point of the Taupo Lake to Kihikihi,
    and thence by a straight line to Puketa on the
    Waikato River, and thence by the Waikato River to
    Puketakauri, the point of commencement.

  8. TAURANGA DISTRICT.
    Bounded towards the North-east by the sea from
    the South Head of Whangamata River to the Whaka-
    tane River; towards the East by the Whakatane
    River aforesaid and the Ohiwa or Waikare River to
    Lake Waikare-Moana; towards the South-west by
    the northern margin of Lake Waikare-Moana afore-
    said, and by a straight line thence to the confluence
    of the Orakeikorako Stream with the Upper Waikato
    River; towards the South-west by a right line from
    the Orakeikorako Stream aforesaid to the confluence
    of the Waitakururu Creek with the Piako River;
    and towards the North-west by a right line from the
    Waitakururu Creek last named, to the summit of Te
    Aroha; and from Te Aroha aforesaid by a right line
    to the South Head of Whangamata River, the place
    of commencement.

  9. OPOTIKI DISTRICT.
    Bounded towards the West and North-west by
    high watermark of the sea from the mouth of the
    Whakatane River to Lottin Point; towards the East
    by a right line southerly from Lottin Point aforesaid
    to the Pukemaru Range, thence by the said range to
    the summit of the Raukumaru Mountain, thence
    in a straight line to the summit of Maungawaru,
    thence in a straight line to the summit of Huiarau;
    towards the South by a straight line bearing due
    west from the summit of Huiarau aforesaid to
    the Waikari River; and towards the West by the
    Waikari and Whakatane Rivers aforesaid to the
    mouth of the last-mentioned river, the point of com-
    mencement.

  10. WAIAPU DISTRICT.
    Bounded towards the North and East by high
    watermark of the sea from Lottin Point to Mawai
    Point; towards the South by a straight line bearing
    due west from Mawai Point aforesaid to the eastern
    boundary of the Opotiki District; and towards the
    West by the eastern boundary of the Opotiki Dis-
    trict before mentioned to Lottin Point, the place of
    commencement.
