  1. The Sub Office at Sandy will be constituted a
    Head Office; and when the change takes place, the
    Sub Office at Potton will be served from it instead of
    as now from St Neots.

  2. During the past month the following alterations
    were made, viz. :-

The Railway Sub Office at Chumleigh was made a
Head Office.

A Railway Office was established at Tebay (West-
moreland), and to it was transferred the Money
Order Sub Office at Kirkby Stephen hitherto served
from Penrith; as also the Money Order Sub Office
at Orton, hitherto served from the Shap Railway Sub
Office.

The Sub Office at Chester-le-Street was made a
Railway Sub Office, and to it were transferred the
Money Order Sub Offices of Bertley and Pit Hill,
hitherto served from Fence Houses.

The Money Order Sub Office at Crosby Ravens-
worth was transferred from Penrith to the Shap
Railway Sub Office.

Friendly Societies, registered and recorded under
the provisions of "The Friendly Societies Act, 1867."

    and No. 14, Upper Dorset Street, Dublin.

Appointment of Receiver of Land Revenue for
Westland.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint EDWARD PATTEN, Esq.,
to be Receiver of Land Revenue for the District of
Westland, vice John McBeth, Esq., resigned.
This appointment dates from 13th July, 1872.

"The Star of Hope Tent of the Salford Unity,
Independent Order of Rechabites, Hokitika,"
and the General Laws of
"The Branch No. 57, Hibernian, Australasian,
Catholic Benefit Society, at Goldsborough,
Waimea, in the County of Westland,"
duly certified, have been lodged with the Registrar of
