HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
discontinue the services of the under-mentioned
Corps, viz. :—
The Prince Alfred (Auckland) Troop, Royal
Cavalry Volunteers; and
The No. 2 Company, Auckland Naval Volunteer
Cadets.
The under-mentioned gentlemen have therefore
ceased to hold the rank of officers, their commissions
having, under the provisions of "The Volunteer Act,
1865," lapsed:---

(Auckland) Troop, Royal Cavalry Volunteers.
F. W. Wright, Esq., late Honorary Assistant-Sur-

Certificate held by Mr. Josiah Hamlin, as
an Interpreter under the Native Lands Acts, is
rescinded from this date.

under-mentioned persons, any one who can give
any information respecting them is requested to com-
municate with this office:—
Miss ANN WATSON COUPER, an Assisted Immi-
grant, who arrived in Dunedin from Scotland in the
ship "Victory" in 1863, and is now about 26 years
of age.
JAMES THOMAS COUCH, formerly of St. Anstill,
Cornwall, England; went to America, and thence to
New Zealand, within the last ten years. It is not
stated to what part of New Zealand Couch came;
and it is supposed that he died in this Colony.

Society, Auckland District Branch, Indepen-

duly certified, has been lodged with the Registrar
of Friendly Societies, registered and recorded in his
office, under the provisions of "The Friendly Societies
Act, 1867."
