ENQUIRIES having been made respecting a
person named ROBERT WATT, thirty years of
age, who arrived in Auckland about eight years ago,
in company with Mr. Pierce, a Draper, and who
served in the Waikato Militia, and was last heard of
at Taranaki about two years since, -any person who
can give any information respecting him is requested
to communicate with this office.

THE following Regulations for the Issue of Supplies
from the Government Stationery Store at Wel-
lington are published for the information of Heads
of Departments.

No issues will be made to any Department ex-
cept upon a requisition approved by the Head of that
Department at Wellington. -
Requisitions for Forms and Stationery for De-
partments other than those at Wellington must be
sent in annually to the respective Heads of Depart-
ments as soon as possible after the 31st December
in each year, and Departments in Wellington must
furnish requisitions as soon as possible after the last
day of each quarter.

IT is hereby notified, in pursuance of the require-
ment of the 5th section of "The Distillation Act,
1868," that
THE NEW ZEALAND DISTILLERY COMPANY, of
Dunedin, and
WILLIAM JOSEPH CAWKWELL, of the "Crown
Distillery," Auckland,
have been duly licensed to distil Spirits under the
provisions of the said Act.
