LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat in the meantime be lodged
forbidding the same.

MICHAEL MCGRATH, of Napier, Settler, Appli-
cant.-63 acres, Block VII., Arapawanui and Moe-
angiangi District.

JAMES WATT, of Napier, Labourer, Applicant.--
6 perches, part of Section 298, Town of Napier.
Bounded-on South by Section 300, 82 feet 6 inches;
on West by Hastings Street, 20 feet; and on North
and East by other parts of said Section 298, 82 feet
6 inches and 20 feet respectively.

SAMUEL WATT, the younger, of Napier, Settler,
Applicant.-6 perches, part of Section 298, Town of
Napier; commencing at a point on the boundary of
said section in Hastings Street 20 feet in a northerly
direction from south-west corner of said section;
thence northerly along Hastings Street, 20 feet;
thence at a right angle easterly, 82 feet 6 inches;
thence at a right angle southerly, 20 feet; and thence
at a right angle westerly, 82 feet 6 inches.

Time for caveat in each case, one calendar month
from date of gazetting this notice.

PATENT for a novel method of Ornamenting
Photographs, to be called "The Floral and
Combination Bordered Photograph," to be vended
as "The New Floral Photograph."

This is to notify, that JAMES DACIE WRIGGLES-
WORTH, Wellington, New Zealand, Photographer,
did, on the thirteenth day of July instant, deposit at
the office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial
Secretary's Office, in Wellington, a specification or
instrument in writing under his hand and seal, par-
ticularly describing and ascertaining the nature of
the said Invention, and in what manner the same is
to be performed; and that by reason of such deposit
the said Invention is protected and secured to him
exclusively for the term of six calendar months thence
next ensuing.

And I do further notify, that the said James Dacie
Wrigglesworth has given notice in writing at my
office of his intention to proceed with his application
for Letters Patent for the said Invention, and I have
appointed Friday, the first day of November next, at
eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at my office, to hear
and consider the said application, and all objections
thereto; and I do hereby require all persons having
an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters
Patent to leave, on or before the twenty-eighth day
of October, at my office in Wellington, particulars
in writing of their objections to the said applica-
tion, otherwise they will be precluded from urging
the same.

Given under my hand this thirty-first day
of July, 1872.

THE following Special Resolution was passed at an
Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders
of the Christchurch Town Hall Company, Limited,
convened by advertisement, and held at Spensley's
Rooms, High Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, the
27th day of June, 1872, at 2 o'clock p.m. :-

"That the affairs of the Christchurch Town Hall
Company, Limited, be forthwith wound up volun-
tarily, under the provisions of 'The Joint Stock
Companies Act, 1860;' and that Liquidators be ap-
pointed for that purpose."
