PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following names of Officiating Ministers,
within the meaning of the said Act, are published for
general information:β€”

I do hereby certify that the foregoing Names of
Officiating Ministers, within the meaning of "The
Marriage Act, 1854," have been sent in to the
Registrar-General in addition to the names in Lists
published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 6, of the
31st of January; No. 9, of the 19th of February;
No. 13, of the 14th of March; No. 14, of the 23rd of
March; No. 16, of the 4th of April; and No. 19, of
the 24th of April, in the present year.

I, JOHN MUIR WAYLAND, Registrar of Joint
Stock Companies for the Provinces of Auckland
and Hawke's Bay, in the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby notify that I have registered a Memorandum
of Association with Articles of Association, estab-
lishing a Company with limited liability of the
shareholders therein, entitled

"The Auckland Steam Packet Company, Limited."

The objects for which the Company is established
are-
"1. To carry on and conduct the business of ship-
owners.
"2. To carry goods, passengers, and traffic of every
description by steam and other vessels.
"3. To build, purchase, or charter steam and other
vessels, and to build, construct, or purchase docks
and piers and other property that may be useful or
convenient for the above objects.
"4. To let, sell, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of
or deal with any property whatever of the Company
as the Company thinks fit.
"5. And to do all such other things as are directly
or indirectly incidental or conducive to the attainment
of the above objects."

And that, in pursuance of the provisions of "The
Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860," I have issued a
Certificate of Incorporation of the said Company,
bearing date this seventh day of May, 1872.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
on or before the 22nd day of June next.

Taratahi Plain Block, Section 194, containing 42
acres; also part of Section 195, containing 34 acres
3 roods and 6 perches. Bounded-North, 4970
links, by Sections 197 and 196; East, 700 links, by
Section 196; South, 4970 links, by other part of same
section; West, 700 links, by Section 194.-In occupa-

City of Wellington, part of Section 473, containing
28 perches. Bounded-North and West, 178 links
