into force and effect on the third day of April, 1872.

Whangaruru, and Thames Foreshore, comprising in the aggregate about 425,000 acres.
‡ This sum includes £21,000 appropriated under Section 54, Part IX., "Immigration and Public Works Act Amend-
ment Act, 1871," for Refunds to the Provinces of Hawke's Bay, Canterbury, and Otago; and there are liabilities in London
to a small amount, not included.
