WHEREAS a fire, supposed to have been caused
by the act of an incendiary, occurred on the
11th day of October last, at Invercargill, in the Pro-
vince of Otago, in the Bank of Otago and other
buildings: It is hereby notified that His Excellency
the Governor will grant a free pardon to any accom-
plice in such act, not being a principal offender,
who shall give such information as will lead to the
apprehension and conviction of the principal offender
or offenders, or any of them, if more than one.
