Bills promoted by the General or Provincial Governments to
be exempt from fees.

Any Private Bills promoted by the General
or Provincial Governments, or by the Government
of the County of Westland, shall be subject to the
foregoing Standing Orders, with the exception of
that imposing fees, from which they shall be
exempt.

TENDERS are invited for the Erection of Additions
to the Colonial Museum, in Wellington.
General Conditions, Specifications, and Drawings
may be seen at the Offices of the Colonial Architect,
Wellington.

Tenders will be received by the undersigned up to
Noon on Monday, the 6th day of March next.
The lowest or any Tender not necessarily accepted.

NOTICE. — "Provincial Compulsory Lands Taking
Act, 1866."—Notice is hereby given, that it is
intended to introduce a Bill into the Provincial
Council of the Province of Otago at its next Session,
authorizing the Superintendent of the Province of
Otago to take compulsorily, for the purpose of com-
pleting a road in the Sandymount Road District,
parts of sections numbered respectively four and
five, block three, Otago Peninsula Survey District.
And notice is hereby further given, that a copy of
the Bill so intended to be introduced as aforesaid
may be inspected at the office of the Clerk of the
Provincial Council, on and after the twentieth day of
April next.

Dated this twentieth day of February, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-one.
