BY virtue and in pursuance of the power and
authority vested in me by "The County of
Westland Act, 1868," and of every power and
authority in this behalf enabling me, I, Sir George
Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint the following Polling Places for the
Electoral Districts respectively hereinafter named,
being the districts described in the Fourth Schedule
to the said Act, that is to say:β€”

Hokitika District.
Resident Magistrate's Court House, Hokitika.

Greymouth District.
Resident Magistrate's Court House, Greymouth.

Paroa District.
Road Board Office, Paroa (principal Polling
Place).
Hamilton's Store, Marsden.
Court House, Arnold.
Court House, Pounamu.
Court House, Clifton.

Arahura District.
Court House, Stafford (principal Polling
Place).
Police Buildings, Goldsborough.
Kech's Store, Chesterfield Road.
McFerrico's Store, Callaghan's.
Merritt's Store, Fox's.

Kanieri District.
Warden's Court, Kanieri (principal Polling
Place).
Mandle's Store, Terminus Junction, Big Pad-
dock.
Gemmell's Store, Blue Spur.
Mitchell's Store, Woodstock.
Terminus Junction, Arahura.

Totara District.
Court House, Ross (principal Polling Place).
Cumming and McKay's Store, Donoghue's.
School House, Bowen.

Daddo's Hut, McKenzie's Creek.

Okarito District.
Court House, Okarito (principal Polling Place).
Canavan's Store, Five-mile Beach.
Matheson's Store, Gillespie's.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir
George Ferguson Bowen, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same; and issued at
Wellington, this twenty-first day of
November, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and autho-
rity in this behalf enabling me, I, Sir George
Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that a Sitting
of the District Court of the Otago Gold Fields,
additional to those already appointed, shall be held
as follows:β€”

In the Resident Magistrate's Court at Lawrence,
on the second Tuesday in February next.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this nineteenth day of No-
vember, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy.

ALFRED FREDERICK FITZROY ETHERIDGE, Esq.,
to be Returning Officer under "The County of
Westland Act, 1868," for the Electoral District of
